"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
KHOBAR, Saudi Arabia - Tens of American, European and other hostages were released Sunday and a gunman believed to be the lead Islamic militant holding them was arrested, a Saudi security official said, adding that two other gunmen were "in the process of being arrested."
We are the "Stotters" who make ourselves aware of the enemy who wishes to do us harm
It's funny, I don't even smoke but that line echoed in my head as I read about the 10 carriers.
TMers: Here is a slightly off-color but funny joke that I just received in my e-mail:
G. W. Bush and John Kerry somehow ended up at the same barbershop.
As they sat there, each being worked on by a different barber, not a word was spoken. The barbers were even afraid to start a conversation, for fear it would turn to politics.
As the barbers finished their shaves, the one who had Kerry in his chair reached for the aftershave.
Kerry was quick to stop him saying, "No thanks, my wife Theresa will smell that and think I've been in a whorehouse."
The second barber turned to Bush and said, "How about you?"
Bush replied, "Go ahead, my wife doesn't know what the inside of a whorehouse smells like."
Just got home and turned on the TV to ABC covering the Reagan funeral. The discussion I overheard involved the fact that the Blackberry system used to warn the senators of danger when there was an alarm today (as told by Cokie Roberts) did not function as it was supposed to have done. It did, however, operate correctly to advise it was safe to return to the area involved in the alarm. It was noted to the consternation of many, there was huge concern for the safety of Hillary, angering many who were equally endangered.

That makes alot of sense -- if I grade it ON A CURVE! Kidding. It makes perfect sense.
Thanks, Cindy. I still didn't catch a translation though. I must be dense. Did I miss it again?
P.S. I keep forgetting that TruthUSA is your website! I have it in my favorites and it is one of the rounds I make. I had forgotten it is you site.
No. You didn't miss it.
No translation, just the exact same message.
I thought I recognized the message and pulled it from my files.
FYI.
Just archiving the pattern/message of Terrorist 007.
P.S. You are not dense.
Or in a U-Haul, Ryder truck, moving van or horse trailer going down your local highway smack dab in the middle of town.
Thanks Cindy. StillProud's workday probably prevented her from posting the translation, so I will see if it has been found or retranslated over at IH. If it has, I will post it. But it probably has not, because someone here would already found it by now.
It's 150 tons not kilotons...
Whew, finally caught up with this thread, and bookmarking! What a day/week!
Have fun Indie and take good care of those little boys of yours!
I'm confused. That domain was created on Jan 2004. Did I miss something?
I've been traveling again and just starting to catch up on the thread. Noticed the interest in 150KT nuclear blasts, and made a few rough estimates to help out:
Reference 150KT nuclear device:
Just for comparism, the Soviet/Russian SS-18 Satan missile or the US ALCM-5 cruise missiles have warheads in that range.
The SS-18 warhead has different ranges from 150 KT to 550KT in yield, depending on if it uses MIRV's or a single warhead, if I remember correctly.
Blast radius: 3 miles approximately
Fallout radius: up to 40 miles depending on wind direction and windspeed
Kill radius: 2-3 miles radius of 100 percent casualties regardless of wind direction, and downwind fallout would carry the following approximate exposures: 1000 Rem exposure out to approximately 10-12 miles, 500 Rem to approximately 15, and 100 Rem out to approximately 40 miles if you are in the fallout path.
Pakistans nukes are believed to be in the 20-25 KT range. They are first generation and havent mastered the process of reducing payload weight.
Hope that helps out
Follow up to the last:
150 tons would affect about a 1-2 mile area, and have a fallout pattern extending 12 miles in a 1 Knot wind.
Thanks, for the effort.
I learn to live with its disabilities.
Thank you, I needed to laugh out loud and did.
Oh yes, the fools will protect hilary.
Our kids (living elsewhere) and us both have AOL. Both of us have had our main password only accounts changed to no password needed and our mail controls changed to access by all (which freaked us out). You are not the only one with AOL issues here.
