FReeps Ahoy 3, the Free Republic Network's Caribbean Cruise Returns Today Saturday the 29th of May.
This photo shows Holland America's Zuiderdam returning to port at Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Those who traveled on the cruise will be posting reports and photos on this thread.

Great pictures, APD, especially the ones from Atlantis. How did you get the ones of the pool/water park? Did you take a tour? We weren't able to get into those areas. I'd love to get some of copies of those, I'm collecting info/pics of Atlantis for some family members who are considering going there for a family trip in the next year or two.

You did a great job capturing the spirit and fun of our cruise. Maybe we should hold sign-ups for next year's cruise now, when everyone is suffering from cruise-envy!!

We had real engineers and wannabe engineers who slaved over the construction of our winning ship. Empty water bottles and scores of wine corks from the bars provided the buoyancy that made THE USS FREEDAM invincible.

HERO, one of our freedom bears perched at the helm and our ship sailed the good ole Red, White and Blue as well as a black and white pirate flag to scare off the competition.

After the FREEDAM won, our crew let out whoops 'n hollers and there was high-fives all around. The joy of victory.......

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Bush_Democrat for the idea and supervision for our winning entry as well as all the freeper able-bodied seapeeples who helped with construction.

Thanks heaven for the duct tape brought along...oh, yah....don't ever leave home without it.

That would be wonderful and you and "Mrs FreedomPoster" came along. I would love to see more of our Atlanta crowd support the effort.. we do have a blast and for a great cause too.

Dio has given me some terrific ideas on rejuvinating the chapter and I am willing to get our chapter website back up and running and updated. If you are interested in co-planning a re-organize-the-chapter dinner let me know and I'll do the leg work. I'll support you as chapter chairman (or what ever we call it) and I'll head up the web site end. We have such wonderful potential here in Atlanta and can and should play a big part in the upcoming election this fall. But we do need a better communication network in place.

We just got back from Miami Beach. It was so packed downtown that it was tough to have a good time. So, we just walked around the beach....

We just got home from a VERY long 8 hour drive from Jax Fl today. It's good to be home but I'm definately going through "Post-Cruise" let down.

You experienced FReep cruisers need to give me tips on how to deal with it. All I keep coming up with is Jose Cuervo shots ; ). I think I still may have some of my medicine left LOL....now I just have to find it.

I will upload my pics later tonight, now my hungry children, hubby and my dirty laundry are calling.

I miss you guys. This was SO much fun, we can't wait to go again next year.

Recovery from Post-Cruise Let Down (PCLD) is difficult. I find that looking for next year's cruise is helpful. Celebrity, 10 Day Panama Canal end of April 2005 looks good.........;^)

Free Republic cruises are additive. Glad that you enjoyed the cruise. Looking forward to seeing you next year. (If not before then.) If you are ever in the Birmingham Area do call and please drop in. I would be so pleased.

My kids will be tracked out from 5/18 - 6/12. I will take your advice and look at possibilities for next year though. I'm sure we can come up with something.
