The American College of Pediatricians has recently come out with a paper discouraging the rearing of children in homosexual households.
The report, "Homosexual Parenting: Is It Time For Change?" cites studies showing that children who are reared in traditional two-parent homes are "more likely to thrive emotionally, mentally, and physically in a home with two heterosexual parents versus a home with a single parent."
The report notes that "...current studies that appear to indicate neutral to favorable results from homosexual parenting have critical flaws such as non-longitudinal design, lack of proper controls, and failure to account for confounding variables."
However, some studies do show that "Children reared in homosexual households are more likely to experience sexual confusion, practice homosexual behavior, and engage in sexual experimentation. Adolescents and young adults who adopt the homosexual lifestyle, like their adult counterparts, are at increased risk of mental health problems, including major depression, anxiety disorder, conduct disorder, substance dependence, and especially suicidal ideation and suicide attempts."

The media blacks out such positive news. It does not fit their pro-homosexual world view. For purposes of convincing the general public it is as if they never came out to discourage homosexual parenting.
The only stories about homosexual parenting that you will see in the comming months will be from anecdotes of homosexuals who have coopeted children via adoption or turkey baster.
These doctors must be homophobes. < /sarcasm >
For example, see 108, 136, 207, and 245 in scripter's "Homosexual Agenda: Categorical Index of Links (Revision 1.1)" thread.
That term describes homosexuality rather well
I am not sure. What I meant is, even during my childhood, example: I had a friend who I never knew was gay until we were in our thirties. So when this friend admitted it to me all the pieces of the puzzle from the past fell into place. I never understood her odd mannerisms, manic mood swings, hyper behavior, hyper sensitivity until she told me she was gay. In spite of her odd personality during our youth I had still excepted her as a good friend. Finally it was her drug use/abuse that we parted ways. I am not gay or a substance user abuser so there was never any way for me to pick up on the clues and hints of her hidden gay side during our youth. How could I, I'm hetero only interested in all things hetero. So all the pieces of puzzles have fallen into place and now I notice people who have major hyper/manic tendencies are gay or closeted gays (many are substance abusers trying to come to terms with their gay selves)
I've always wondered why they call themselves gay and lesbian. Both of the males and females are "gay"/homosexual so it's just like saying gay gay. My husband laughs when I call them the gay gays for that very reason. It makes no sense.

I am in the arts field and a hetero. The media is but one of many extensions of the arts. Of course the media which is probably 75% gay by now is going to pro-homosexualize the world. What I have a problem with is womens equality rights has been drastically going in reverse and most women today are turning into fag hags instead of independant, innovative leaders, diverse workers and entrepeneurs. It's sickening to see when I saw the great days of progressive female equality turn into knee pad clad anorexic girls in highschool today.
Good point, Trillian, and none of it makes sense. Without trying to be too graphic about it, their primary defining behavior doesn't make a whole lot of sense either. Maybe some day the pendulum will start swing back - it's sure swung pretty far the other way!
I wonder how Bush's "agreement" (read: Republican Cave-In) with the libs in the Senate will go as far as getting his judges voted on? I'll do a scan.
And I use the word, "queer".
What Homosexuals Say About Homosexuals (Is This Gay Behavior Sick?)
"Let´s look at gay behavior as defined by two gays, Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen Ph.D., authors of After the Ball: How America will Conquer its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90´s (1989).
In Chapter Six, they outline ten categories of misbehavior, drawn from their own experiences, wide reading and thousands of hours of conversation with hundreds of other gays. Their contention is that the gay lifestyle, not gay sexuality mind you, is the pits. They want gays to improve their image by addressing what is wrong with a lot of gays. (276). What follows are some highlights...
They say gays suffer from a narcissistic personality disorder and they give this clinical description: pathological self absorption, a need for constant attention and admiration, lack of empathy or concern for others, quickly bored, shallow, interested in fads, seductive, overemphasis on appearance, superficially charming, promiscuous, exploitative, preoccupied with remaining youthful, relationships alternate between over idealization and devaluation...

"Two recent studies published in the Archives of General Psychiatry found higher rates of psychiatric disorders among homosexually oriented men and women than among the heterosexual population (Herrell 1999 & Fergusson 1999). Those articles mentioned that a third study, not yet published, had confirmed their findings."

Background It has been suggested that homosexuality is associated with psychiatric morbidity...
Results Psychiatric disorders were more prevalent among homosexually active people compared with heterosexually active people.
Conclusion The findings support the assumption that people with same-sex sexual behavior are at greater risk for psychiatric disorders.

Excellent find. I'm putting it in the database before I forget.
