Kenn Pollack is anywhere from mid-30's to mid-40's. Brown hair, close cropped. Squarish face; generally wears glasses although sometimes I think he wears contacts.

And I just looked at his book again - he works for the Brookings Institute, not Rand.

Either way, I think this is serious and we have a fair amount of travel this summer and fall planned. Darn it. We're in a small town in the south and I have a false sense of security when home.

Perhaps Jewish conversions to Islam are rare, but not unkown?...Every society has its share of sympathizers with that society's enemies.

Well, I don't know how common or rare it is, but there are definitely some who choose to become moslems.

Notable is Stephen Schwartz who converted a number of years ago, sometimes goes by his moslem name, sometimes not.

Neal Boortz this morning was talking about the seeming lack of interest by people on this latest warning.

The trouble is, this has been about the 5th or 6th time a 'significant' warning has been made by HLS Dept. The alerts have been about the same:

Chris Cox is on FoxNews right now saying the same thing. 'We don't really know much but there is a lot more chatter...yada yada yada.'
