Is there Any evidence that Kerry was served notice about his inability to make progress against a reeling President Bush?
The NYTimes power brokers can use all the Hanoi John Kerry, Kommunist Kerry, Viet Kong Kerry, Flip-Flop Kerry angles to DESTROY him and he knows it.
Kerry's campaign (moving to the left) and his early use of gutter tactics do not make any sense otherwise.
The Democrats are trying to pull the Republicans into the mud with them. The have been hoping that the Republicans would also get "dirty", and so when the switch is made, Hillary can take the high road and pledge to run a "clean" campaign, and ask the American people to make sure that the Republicans also run a clean campaign. The purpose of which is so that all the dirt about Hillary does not come out.
I believe that the Republican know and understand this, and this is why we have not seen the Republican go after Kerry (the way they would have normally).
Hillary is running now.
If x42 praises Hildabeast to the point of political sainthood and outstanding moral character in his memoirs then we will know the fix is in for her to be annointed queen.
Hannity was trying to make the convention nomination another flip/flop for Kerry.
I agree. But I don't think it was a personally chosen flop. I think he got flipped by the brokers in his own party.
If he doesn't play, and they destroy him for the presidency, that will also destroy his senate seat.
If he plays, he keeps some power. If he doesn't, he loses everything.
LOL!
Excellent.
Isn't that a pretty succinct description of our current condition?
I am not one to walk around with tin-foil on my head (cough), or engage in conspiracy theories (ahem), but if it was going to be a Hillary! Putsch, this is exactly what it would look like...
Has Hitlery chosen her horse she is going to ride in on? Poor horse.
NOpe, Kerry's just doing what he always does...make a politically inept decision.
The Clinton's aren't hiding under every bed, folks.....
precisely.
send the delegates home without them having decided anything.
then the power-brokers decide.
1. What's he's doing has saying has NEVER been done before.
2. The delegates will ALREADY have gone home and the decision will be UNRESOLVED.

The political version of the "Day After Tomorrow?"
Sorry, I find it far more likely this is just another example of Kerry being politically inept than any "conspiracy theory" involving the Clinton's.
I don't like the Clinton's any more than anybody else in this forum....but they aren't hiding under the bed, or in every freakin closet.
...A national nightmare, for sure...but, why should the Liberals care?...as long as Shrillary gets elected..."no need for the constitution, no need for civil rights, no need for laws...Shrillary shall provide, is the cry." ...to hell w/ the country..."Its' for the chil'ren ya know." :/
I have also felt for some time that she was going to manage to be the candidate (without going through all that tacky debating, discussing, interviewing, and whistle-stopping stuff).
My hope is that Kerry will be legally impeded by the FEC from carrying out this bizarre plan. Somehow, Hillary will still end up being the candidate, IMHO, but at least she might have to take some public steps to achieve this.

I am afraid you, and many others, underestimate the raw greed of these two.
....an airplane crash, should do the trick...How very convenient! :/
Under the new campaign finance laws, isn't there a 60 day restriction on any "opinion" issues prior to the election? Lets see, this would be September and October, and would give Hillary a free ride on any negative press.
I'm suggesting they've ordered Kerry NOT to accept the nomination until the polls show how he's doing in the Autumn.
The idea of someone NOT accepting a sure nomination at a convention for just that purpose SHOULD cause reflection on covert reasons for why one would do that.
We should not simply BUY INTO Kerry's explanation.
