five more speeches to go!
If you don't mind, please ping me to that thread about the White House staff if you find it. I would love to bookmark it, it will come in handy later in the campaign.
I haven't liked the last few he has written anyway. They were almost rote-written....like his heart wasn't in it...not very exciting.
SPEAK LOUDER. I CAN'T HEAR YOU. :-)
Proud Legions - anything to do with the 194th?
Clancy looked drunk or stoned. He also came off sounding like an idiot Dem shill.
"The President laid out general principles tonight, most of which we've heard before. What's most important now is to turn these words into action by offering presidential leadership to the nation and to the world. That's going to require the President to genuinely reach out to our allies so the United States doesn't have to continue to go it alone and to create the stability necessary to allow the people of Iraq to move forward. That's what our troops deserve, and that's what our country and the world need at this moment."
(Do I really need to show /sarcasm?)
There is NO way that I'll ever buy another book of his!
Don't go down that stinky path, we don't need massive false character assassination, we are NOT democrats. Clancy simply has a different view on this, one that I do not agree with, but one that I certainly believe he came to in good faith. He isn't an idiot or trolling for an appointment in another administration, but he does carry a good bit of credibility in understanding military matters. Doesn't mean he's always correct, but I don't dismiss him lightly.
Are we talking about dick morris yes?
Then Zinni came on and said he didn't know the neo-cons were Jewish. Then Hannity read that Clinton statement from 1998 about Iraq's WMD's, and Zinni thought it was Bush's statement and started talking about how it wasn't true!! LOL!
Then Zinni did some tapdancing to try and say that he had spoken out at the time, blah, blah.
Then Clancy, who Doc thinks looked drunk but who just looked his usual sloppy, droopy eyed self, made a big deal about using Latin (causus belli) to embarass Sean. Used the term twice and didn't define it. Finally said we had no real reason to go into Iraq. Zinni accuses all sorts of people of lies, except for the president.
Clancy says in a disdainful way that he will "probably" vote for Bush.
No more money for child support from me, PD. And if you ask me we should have some Freepers staking out positions around that estate on Chesapeake Bay.
I was proud of him..He read Clinton's words and Zinni said he didn't agree!..THEN..Hannity told him it was Clinton not Bush who said it..No reason to go to war in Iraq,Zinni and Clancy agree...
They don't get THE point! We are trying to establish one country with a more just government, take away the possibility of terror base..help transform the ME bit by bit to take away the attractivenesss of jihad. They may get to living a better life and not be so interested in the terror business. Hopefully we can have an ally in Iraq.
I think I will buy Bill Sammons book tomorrow -it sounds like it is the type of read that may help put things in perspective for those of us who believe in the President.
I support the President and I hate to see all the hate spewed in his face all the time. He is an honorable man.
I agree...I felt the same way at work. I was like, "Lord, how can I take another 162 days before the election?" So on the way home, while listening to the President, I was just praying in the Spirit for him, that God would speak mightily through him.
Don't be afraid to say that you feel this way. I guarantee there are more who feel that way. The only way that we're going to get through this, is to stick together.
