Heads should roll for this guy getting off. He ranted off a bunch of islamic ideology that reminds me of what bin laden would write himself.

Portland attorney arrested when his fingerprint alleged to have been found on bag holding detonators at Madrid Spain train bombing. He is Muslim attorney who has represented one of the Portland 7 terrorists in a domestic dispute.

Outspoken against Patriot Act.

Thanked Portland for being liberal leftist town.

A Federal Judge dropped all charges saying the FBI presented erroneous evidence.

He released him from custody pending the results of a sitting grand jury. The guy could still be indicted. Or did I read the news reports incorrectly?

(Sorry, I inadvertantly sent this same comment to you via Private Mail first).

Did you hear him on CNN?

Sheesh - he's a converted Muslim who says he was targeted because of his religious faith and he is deeply afraid of the Patriot Act. Then he quoted that famous saying (paraphrase): "First they came for the artists and I did nothing because I am not an artist. Then they came for the Protestants and I did nothing because I am not a Protestant...." etc.

They are reporting that due to the misidentification by the FBI of a fingerprint, the court ordered the material witness proceeding dismissed. The court ordered all property seized to be returned to him. I think this guy is up to his neck in involvement with some very bad people and is connected to a Mosque they are carefully watching in the greater Portland area, but since the fingerprint was the basis of the government's case, I have a feeling this will not be going any further.
