THE WEEKEND THREAD
|
|
It's awesome!
I didn't know such a thing existed. Thanks for the tip!
We are so glad to have you among us, MrsMike31, and to have you as another Finest Family member.
You and mrstank definitely are appreciated, as are your wonderful husbands, standing in the gap for us - and trying to obtain freedoms for an oppressed people.
Yeah, you've got to watch out for us Army wives!! We sneak in with a bang with the best of them! ;)
Pot roast sounds good! I can almost smell it!
Most of today's populace is unaware of so many of the roles ordinary but dedicated American citizens played during WWII in the larger scheme of things - and at great personal cost.
I agree with you.
Welcome aboard, MrsMike!!! Glad to have you become a member of the "family"!!!!!
Since you insist on pinging me all the time.....WHAT TIME IS DINNER?
HUH? Pot Roast? When is it done? Gramps, Brad & I will be arriving SOOOOOOOOOON.
Hurry! Hurry! :-)
She resideth in Kali-forn-ya, and is a genuine RAT Stalker - no joke !!
Her neighbor herds his rodents over to her yard for her to dispatch..:))
I do believe the score stands at
Gramma = 4
Puffed up but ineffective neighbor = 1
Occasional bulletins might disrupt these threads..:))

Used a Texas Ping List for my Reply # 67 - you might like the last statement on it!
Just think of the proportion of the number of fighters fully involved then (not to mention the vast numbers of those supporting them) compared with our forces today...and yet there are whines and complaints by the detractors about the costs to which they give tax monies, but no effort or support - go figure.

To be noted by all who read this. Said poster X who claims to be a lady on TOP of it all...has refused to answer me regarding feeding the poor child named Brad. The hungry child named Brad. The child who's home from school now, needing dinner Brad.
'Tis a shame.
++ End of transmission ++
(You forgot the sign over my stove says:
CLOSED - and it means it..:))
Hey! Sounds JUST LIKE HOME! :-)
Re: "The child who's home from school now, needing dinner Brad."
The resourceful LadyX recommends you raid the *cheese supply* you maintain to trap the RATS, and feed some to said Brad....
*LadyX clucks tongue...poor child.....
LOL!!!! OK then, cheese it is! I'll feed the poor child cheese for dinner. Knowing that you, my friend LadyX, is having pot roast and won't allow the poor innocent child to share said pot roast.
Cheese it will be.
Hello, 'mrstank', nice meeting you. We're happy to have you at the 'Finest'. : )
Welcome to the Finest, MrsMike31!
Er.....don't be frightened if a certain 'wolfie' asks you ladies for a hug. He's harmless. : )
Perhaps you can post your formal portrait?
We also have a resident fox, name of Johnny, and a handsome and erudite dude he is!
jwfiv delights us with word and actual pictures, keeping his pulse on the heart of America.
