Sink The Pink!!!
Please join with us in staging a counterprotest against the "Commie Mommies" and their "Halt The Assault" road show of lies.
On Friday, July 16th, the Million Moms will be sending their propaganda machine back into Trenton, New Jersey where they started. The NJCSD needs your help to be there to "welcome" them.
Please help us send them the message that our rights are not negotiable.
For more information, please contact our coordinator for more details on how to help us Sink The Pink, or log onto our bulletin board to discuss strategy!

CAN THE BAN!!!!
Where is the link to their schedule?
Judging from the attendance at the last DC rally, instead of calling them "Million Moms" we should, instead, use the more numerically accurate "Hundred Harridans".
Or "Dozens of Dingbats."

Here's a piece of good news: It's entirely possible, even probable, that within a couple of months, you can buy an Uzi, a Colt AR-15 gas-operated magazine-fed machine gun or your very own Kalashnikov rifle, also known as an AK-47. By next Mother's Day, you can even buy one for Mom.
Aside from the fact that the AR-15 is NOT a "machine gun," but a mere semi-automatic (and the Colt version is an overpriced one, at that), and the fact that the AK-47 IS a machine gun and will not be any more available after the AWB dies than it is now, I must agree with her sentiments. I don't know if my Mom or SWMBO really want an AK-47 for Mother's Day, but I'll sure ask because it sure sounds like a gift that the whole family can enjoy.
I'd like to point out one small little fact that this blissninnie missed: Anyone who's not a criminal, drug addict, mental case, etc. (i.e. about 98% of the populace) can ALREADY buy an Uzi, AR-15 or AK-47 (in semi-auto only). What she doesn't know (or won't admit to knowing) is that the AWB didn't ban anything except new production of these named guns and similar ones with certain "evil" cosmetic features. ALL of the ones manufactured prior to 9/13/94 are still legal to own (except in the PRNJ and other fascist-occupied states) - i.e. the AWB didn't take them "off the street." All it did was to make the pre-bans more expensive; come 9/14/04, when the artificial government-imposed supply embargo ends, the free market will reduce the price of most of these used guns.
The assault weapons ban, a major piece of sensible gun legislation, which took so much hard work and effort to pass 10 years ago, expires in 54 days, and Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay has promised the National Rifle Association (a tremendous contributor to political candidates who block sensible gun laws) to keep it from being renewed.
Let's see, 54 days from April 24, 2004 is somewhere around June 17. Either she knows something that I don't about an early expiration of the AWB, or she's as fact-challenged regarding mathematics as she is about guns (I vote for the latter). Oh, and the AWB is not "a major piece of sensible gun legislation;" I would characterize it as "a major piece of crap that shiites all over the Constitution." As for "sensible gun laws," the only ones that I know of are Jeff Cooper's 4 Rules. The rest are unconstitutional, stupid or both (mostly the latter), so blocking newer and more odious versions of them is an unmitigated good thing.
He can do it, too, simply by not allowing the bill to come up for a vote, which he's vowed to do. Now there's something to boast about.
Praise Heaven, this imbecilic hoplophobe actually got one right. Since this is the only thing that she appears to have gotten correct in her whole article, I think that I'll stop commenting now (that, and something about keeping my breakfast down).
Follow the commie mommies along their route with a few hundred of these...
...you can probably get $15 (for the T-Shirt, not the 2nd Amendment activist!) and they would never get the joke.
I'm not an AC/DC fan...but it would go a long way to irritate the heck out of these people if that song (on the "repeat" mode on someone's cd player) was played really loud everywhere they stop to rally.
Sink The Pink!!! Can the Ban!!!
I regret VERY MUCH that I won't be able to attend the SATX rally. For some reason, my wife insists that we have a more important thing to do on June 7. I don't know why something scheduled for 2 or 3 days after the rally would interrupt my attendance at such an important event - heck, I'm not delivering the baby, that's why we're paying the doctor!
I'm a NJ refugee and proud resident of SATX, FA (that's Free America, for those of you who haven't seen Red Dawn). I didn't leave NJ just because of the gun issue, but I'll never move back there for exactly that reason. Besides, if I go back there with all of my stuff*, I'll get a taxpayer-paid 1,000 year vacation in Rahway State Prison.
*Dozens of normal capacity mags at 5 years per, plus hundreds of hollowpoints and some AP
Oh well, it'll just be a little extra work, I guess.
They're being awfully mysterious with that pretty pink hate machine of theirs. How are their own people supposed to find them?
LOL!
Coleus, I will be there on July 16. Let's try to get the troops out for this. A little more important than a concert at Six Adventures.
Plan on this one if you can, Tri-Staters.
Crossposted to GT- GNG to alert the Texas GTers.
Go Gettum!!!!
Closest lie-fest to me is St Louie... Very doubtful.
If they should happen to stray closer, welllll.
CAN THE BAN!!!!!
Anyone know what the mommie-meddlers are up to in Raleigh this weekend?
