Does putting an M that looks like devil horns behind his head further their agenda? I always thought they simply used their articles to further the agenda...
The M is supposed to make him look like the devil. This is the media starting their subliminal games.
They also selected a position of the eyes which is looking back, as if Bush is looking to the past and not the future. (second term) Ie 9/11 is over, move along (.org).
All the pictures surrounding him are from negative situations, the burning hummer, the general who wrote the prison report, Rummy speaking at the hearings,berg at the beheading (blaming bush for that? why yes berg father of commie past personally blamed bush), the black hood "torture" ALL designed to create a halo of evil surrounding the devil "M" horned Bush.
Its a hit piece.
Besides the M forming horns on his head, they added every horror picture they could didn't they? No happy rejoicing Iraqi's freed from a monster dictator, no, just doom and gloom. Time sucks.

I think you're right. I forgot who it was, but Bush had a meeting with this person who was all concerned, and Bush's words to him were, everything is going to turn out fine. I don't know what it is, but Bush's calmness in the face of all these attacks just leads me to believe that something is going to drop...at least I hope.

There's a pic of lynndie england holding a leash. A pic of the iraqi standing on the box. And a pic of general Taguba. These are the three most prominent pictures.
Not one picture on that cover is a positive picture. You have Bremer covering his mouth in what appears to be a massive amount of stress. You have Rumsfeld making a frustrated angry face. An Iraqi woman crying. Two soldiers wives embracing. A very scared looking soldier behind Taguba. Nick Berg. An army vehicle in flames.
And most prominent of all you have President Bush in the middle. He does not look serious and resolved. He looks nervous and scared. If he was looking straight ahead at the camera, that denotes confidence and honesty. By deliberately choosing a picture with his eyes diverted, it makes it look like he is hiding something, or looking for enemies.
TIME trying to be neutral? I dont think so.

Berg was murdered BEFORE the prison story broke. The WEB SITE that posted the video obviosly keeps track of US media and is feeding into the media's effort to create a media vietnam syndrome.
