Notice that all the images in the mosaic are negative. Where are the photos of the cheering liberated Iraqis waving US flags? Where are photos of Saddam's statues being toppled? Where are the photos of the US soldiers shaking hands with Iraqi children?
Yes, they knew exactly what they were doing when they "crafted" this cover: it's got agitprop written all over it.

Oh, it's the usual Republican president in crisis, you know. The objective liberal fanatics in the news media usually go with that line during an election year.
To: SpyGuy
Sadly, this appears to have all the objectivitiy of the U.K. Daily Mirror.

Notice also: It is the Angry Soldier, the reverent Taguba, the victimized prisoner and the 'freedom fighter' on Bush's LEFT....While on his RIGHT is diminutive pawn like England, Rumsfeld, and Berg...
I know it sounds crazy...but I see this stuff..and I think these Time people are truly evil...
Notice also the grieving family members are bracketed by Kimmit and Rumsfeld, while the grieving burkah clad muslim shrinks away...and Bremmer is aghast of all of it whilst he seemingly gazes toward Bush speechless...
Its all about symbolism...like the presidential flag being displayed with the Eagle only holding the Arrows...Link

He can't do anything about it. That's what this race will be about-- was Iraq worth it (the blood and treasure). Bush has to get voters to say, "yes."

While I appreciate the fact that not everything is roses over there, ALL of their pictures in the mosaic are of negatives. That cover is clearly an anti-Bush editorial against the war in Iraq. Big surprise from Time.
These media leftists are the same people who were calling Iraq "Vietnam" before the first shot was even fired.
Time is about as objective as Al Jezeera.

Its called editorial symbolism...even the president is guilty of it...his presidential flag only shows the talon with the arrows...not the olive branch...
It is not nutty...its real...choosing one picture over another to achieve an impact is done every day all day...subtly setting format and elements is a conscience choice...the props selected...even the books on a book shelf behind someone interviewed...it happens 24-7 365...in this case its blatant and obvious...unlike the presidential flag...which is very very subtle to all but that particular culture that thrives on symbolism...Arab culture
If you think the editorial layout minions at Time didn't think every part of this image through for an impact that furthers their agenda...your not living in reality.

Could be inadvertent, but I highly doubt it.

The M makes two red horns on Bush's head...but aside from that, every element of this mosaic reeks with bias...from content to layout

I don't doubt the part about the content, but I don't know how intentional the M is. I wouldn't put it past them...

Long before the US military invaded Iraq to overthrow Saddam, the two key questions were whether the Iraqi people would actually fight side by side with the US military to turn their homeland around, and would they accept an American led political reorganization of their nations infrastructure.
With PresBush`s June.30th turnover approching fast, both of these questions have yet to be fully answered. Not only are US forces fighting terrorist insurgents, former Bathist troublemakers and radical Muslims, support for Iraq conflcit is suffering because the liberal establishment and the partisan media is working overtime to undermine the Bush administration on every level, whenever and wherever possible.
In all honesty, we are at a crossroads in the WoT. Either the Bush policy on Iraq will prevail, or further chaos will prevail. My moneys on the former happening.
