May 20, 2004 -- Now available from WinterSoldier.com -- the entire 21,477 page collection of FBI files detailing the activities of Vietnam Veterans Against the War during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Wade right into our new Complete VVAW FBI Files section for days, nay, weeks of investigative enjoyment. A quick look through a few files turned up an interesting proclamation that the VVAW issued in February of 1971: "We, as veterans of the war in Vietnam, give notice that if Laos is attacked, we will respond at once. We call for mass civil disobedience to take place all over this country. We call for industry to shut down. We call upon the students to close the schools. We call upon our brothers who are still in uniform to close the military bases throughout America and the world. We call on the anti-war movement to shut down the major cities of America.... If this be a threat, let us make the most of it... We have been trained to fight. If need be we will use the knowledge we have gained against those who are seeking to extend this war." -- 100-HQ-448092, Section 02, page 66. Such threats of sedition and violence seem a bit difficult to square with Kerry campaign spokesman Michael Meehan's recent description of the VVAW as "thoughtful" and "moderate," but no doubt there's a reasonable explanation. Incidentally, one of North Vietnam's greatest fears was that U.S. forces would move enough ground forces into Laos to cut off the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The VVAW, so it appears, felt exactly the same way. ---------- May 19, 2004 -- Vietnam Veterans for the Truth has made announcement forms available for their Kerry Lied Rally in Washington on September 12. They plan to bring 100,000 veterans and their supporters to the nation's capital to "tell the truth about Vietnam veterans, and to counter the lies John Kerry told about them." The KLR leadership is looking for local and regional coordinators, so consider dropping them a line. ---------- May 18, 2004 -- We have added a 1971 article from the Philadelphia Inquirer titled Two Veterans: Study in Contrasts to our News Articles section. The photocopy is old and smudged, but you will want to read it. Trust us. ----------

All better now, thanks!
I'm too tired to read 'em; I'm already weeping.
I hope through the telling of this story, undecided Americans begin to realize just how much your generation sacrificed to do its duty, and how much we lost by listening to the lies these people were spreading in the name of human rights and justice.
Congratulations! Your tenacity and commitment to the cause of freedom are most admired.
Bump for later read.
Don't be so sure, I have family members who are so die-hard democrats because Granddaddy was that.. they won't vote any other way....and that is the way it is with some hardheaded people. Damn the facts in their opinion, cause Grandad would turn over in his grave if they voted Repbulican, it is sick but true! I love my President, but I can't even speak of him to these people, without a war.
Ronnie, if you have a ping list I'd like to be on it. Your stuff is great!!
Kerry should never have gone to Paris and had a private meeting with Madame Binh. He was in the reserves at that time - such an action is treasonous.

Anyone interesting I a group project say like taking 20 pages of it and reporting back? If enough of us do. We can get through it a bit easier.
I'm trying to download the video of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth's news conference on C-Span to my hard drive (from the WinterSoldiers.com website, following the link for Swift Boad Veterans on the left), but am unable to do so. The link is titled, "press conference". I've tried the simple right-click and "Save As". I fully admit I'm a novice when compared to many on the computer. I would like a copy of this video on my hard drive though, for archival purposes. Can anyone assist?
Thanks,
I was hoping that it would all be in one or two big files to download, but never mind. It would be way too big and take forever to download. This is enough to keep a guy busy for awhile. Thanks!
Best money ever spent, thanks to whoever did!
Here is a group of people who:
=== Use activist judges to impose their visions upon others because votes will not support their agenda.
=== Support Abortion (personal decision to kill, yet are Against the Death Peantly where a jury of their peers might see fit to deny life.
Democrats are uneducated on FACTS and put FEELINGS ahead of RESPONSIBILTY.
