Yesterday's show trial really shows the liberal hand, cause it lays the foundation of VAST amounts of money not being provided for by the Homeland Security Agency, thus the charge that President Bush doesn't care about protecting "first responders".

Right after the 2002 election and during Trent Lott's hoof and mouth disease eruption liberals were establishing their plan to use Homeland Security against President Bush.

The plan went like this, liberals in Congress would allocate the funding themselves to their pet projects, leaving little funding available to the new Agency to use for establishing "first responders". Then the lying crooked liberals would accuse President Bush of not doing anything to prepare and protect this nation.

Now for their plan to have the most impact would be for terrorists to hit someplace again prior to this election.

I tuned in yesterday at just the right time when that came up yesterday, that boy scout remark. But Kerrey, who has been mentioned as a possible Democratic vice-presidential candidate, won the biggest round of applause from victims' relatives at the hearing when he said, "19 people . . . defeated the INS, they defeated the Customs [Department], they defeated the FBI, they defeated the CIA."

I think the commission has really stepped in it now. The American people love Firemen and Boy Scouts. Any support this commission had from the public has been severely eroded. I heard John Leahmann of Sean Hannity's radio show yesterday.

Leahmann certainly didn't talk about that clash, and the insulting remarks he accused the response teams of.

I think these response departments handled the situation the best that they could, given the circumstances.
