I just thought you'd want to know why I have been absent for 2 weeks.
No matter how old you are it's tough when a good father dies. My daddy died ten years ago and I still miss him. My heartfelt sympathy is with you and your family.
I personally read these kinds of threads closely, because I'm in "rehearsal"....my Pop is 90 now, and failing fairly quickly, both mentally and pysically.
Thank you for letting us know, friend GeronL.
I'll be keeping you and your father, and your family, in my heart and prayer.
I wish you blessings, and peace.
GeronL,.... I am so sorry to hear of your loss, my prayers are with you.
Stay strong, he'd want that, I think.
The Lord give you peace and comfort.
The Lord give you peace and comfort.
May God comfort you and yours during your time of grief. The prayers of many are with you.
Geron, I'm so sorry about your dad. I've been sitting here crying since I read your post. Bless your heart. I will be praying that the Lord will comfort you and give you strength for the coming days.
I'm so sorry for your loss. A recent roommate lost his 8-month-pregnant wife on their 1st anniversary just a couple of months ago in a car wreck, and so such grief is fresh in my heart.
I am sorry about your father and pray that God will give you comfort.
Deepest sympathies to you and your family GeronL.
So sorry to hear this. God Bless you and your family GeronL.
So very sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Dad. May our Lord grant you and your family the comfort of leaning on His arms. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Geron, I am so sorry that you have lost your beloved Dad. It is so shocking to lose someone that quickly. Your Dad will be watching over you from Heaven. He is already proud of you for being the one who stayed with him and loved him unconditionally.
My sincerest condolences to you and your siblings.
I do know what you're going through, GeronL. I lost
my Daddy two years ago this month. I love him and
my Momma also, who passed away almost 5 yrs. ago. I'm
so sorry you're having to go through this, but I guess,
as Daddy said so many times, "It's reality." It seems
like so many times the health care providers seem to
make matters worse in times like these. I sometimes
think some of them get a bit callous or perhaps caught
in the middle of rules and regulations and frustrations.
You have my sincere sympathy. As children, we wish we
could have made everything completely comfortable and
perfect for them in their final days. I'll always love
and miss them.
