I have a better idea...."Let's calm down".
But ... but ... Iraq had NO weapons of mass distruction! The Main Stream Media and the Democraps have assured us of this fact! Bush LIED! There can't be ANY WMD. Iraq never had any!!!!!!!
(/sarcasem)
Hasn't been confirmed yet.
I agree with you. This is a big deal. We better find out where these weapons are before they end up killing our troops en mass or per killing civilians in the United States.
My concern is that WMDs won't be found in sufficient quantities (or in such a manner as to convincingly prove the existence of additional quantities that would be "significant" enough) of WMDs to change The Public's perception from "Bush Lied" to "Bush Was Right."
There's only several threads on this topic so far on FR.
This is only about the 6th or 7th time we've found them. Expect the Left to deny, as usual, even while our soldiers (that they care so deeply for, when they're not demonizing them) get nerve gassed by jihadis.
Haven't they only done field testing on the shell. I know it really looks promising, but we have been disappointed before. We also need to find out if there are more.
If we are vindicated, we will shout it from the highest rooftops, until then, calm down.
I agree. Keep yelling until ALL the press covers the story, NOT just the Fox News Channel!!
There have been numerous WMD finds in the past which turned out to be nothing... wait and see...
In a related development, Dr. Blix also stated that the measured attractive force between two bodies is not necessarily evidence of Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation, that the diffraction of light by a slit is not evidence of the wave nature of light, nor is the photoelectric effect evidence of its corpuscular nature, the gravitational red shift does not necessarily confirm any aspects of the theory of relativity, and that the invariance of the speed of light in a vacuum only points out "ambiguities" in Einstein's formulations. Finally, Dr. Blix also discounted any evidence that contradicts the Flat Earth Theory, the geocentric universe, clairvoyance, Ptolemaic epicycles, and the Theory of Atlantis.
It might have been your reason but it wasn't President Bush's reason.
Bush never said that WMD stockpiles existed in Iraq or that our purpose of invading was to destroy stockpiles of WMD. He stated five reasons, none of which were to hunt for WMD stockpiles.
Yes, but they would not have used them if we didn't abuse their prisoners.
They've found one shell, two if you count the mustard gas find last week. So let's not get carried away. It will take more than this to give general credence to the WMD issue. We're not going to try to justify this war only on the basis of discovering these two shells.
Blix and Kay already spinning this.

We need to properly mop the place up and use a plan similar to what we did in Japan 1945 - 1950 to get the place under control. It would be non PC, and we'd have no friends amongst the usual UN whiners. Screw 'em.
Post an article, not a stray thought.
My take is that Saddam sent the bulk of his WMD supplies to Syria with the plan that it could easily be returned piecemeal, to use against the troops in the event the invasion occurred and the U.S. actually succeeded in overthrowing him. He had to have an ace in the hole (not the hole he was found in), to fall back on if things didn't go the way he had hoped.
This story does not HURT GW and it does NOT help effingkerry so it will be HISTORY shortly.
