From your link.............
"There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them."
Are there dueling factions now to see who can hit us first?

Also, Abu Sayyaf took credit for sinking a Ferry that killed 200. Now, the Govt has admitted jihadis sank that ferry.
Which ferry? (there've been so many I can't keep them straight honestly!)

Phillipines. Talked about much on this thread with pictures. Filipino govt denied any connection but admitted it recently. Got some TV play but as an unfortunate accident and not a jihadi hit. Some spectacular pix, tho.
Don't know which incarnation of the Matrix it's in , tho, but perhaps JP can help you on that. Google maybe

Taking credit is like puffing up a resume. There's this old fisherman's adage I think about for situations like that, even the fish wouldn't have gotten caught if he kept his mouth shut.

Are there dueling factions now to see who can hit us first? Either that or they're all allied against the common cause.

Can anyone remember the threat to divide America into 4 parts? Help!
I vaguely remember that... pinging WPtG to see if he remembers it.

First of all, ask your wife to thank the Officer for whatever part he played in ending that case.
About 7 years ago the meth lab busts got so bad in my valley, that I asked the snob at planning and zoning what zoning was needed for setting up a meth lab.
Guess I had better not need a zoning change in this lifetime, she didn't think I was funny.
We have both the gambling at Laughlin and the dopers, couple of years ago, 2 young men, borrowed the Granma's old farm pickup, robbed our little bank, and then made the get away in the still running pickup, that was parked across the street.
The Officer, simply went to the home and arrested them.
The crime is growing, but I am sure that it is not nearly as bad as in a city.

I still have a feeling they are now going to try and one up each other. Zarqawi has been getting all the attention in Iraq and with Madrid and the almost bombing in Jordan. BL and Zawahiri are hiding in some hole in the mountains and now Iran sees an opening (or else the poppy crop came in early and they've been smoking too much). So who's going to be first?
Plus they (Iran) threatened Israel which was not a brilliant idea IMHO.
I also think the whole prisoner abuse story which was totally way over reported thanks to the liberal biased media has given all these creeps the ammunition to think they can get tough with us. Plus it probably gave them another 10,000 volunteers everytime those pictures were shown. AND last but not least the Kerry/Gore cr@p

For all that bad news, our town crime rates are VERY low compared to most cities. Violent crime is 44% of the national average. My old neighborhood in Mira Mesa, CA was 118% of national average. My parents home in Chula Vista, CA was rated 160%. Most of our criminal activity is property crime committed to finance drug habits
Please explain... I'm a little slow, sorry. What is a good rating? Since those 2 numbers are over 100% I'm assuming that is very very bad? I'm worried now because there is a high probability we are moving to S.D. this fall for hubby's work!

I know just what you mean about attempting to waken these people, but I came to the realization today that many of them prefer NOT to hear the truth. I looked at the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone today and saw Ted Kennedy featured (gag alert). Apathy is everywhere and the ignorant abound. Stubborn headstrong liberals will face their demons when the terrorists affect them personally.
