Dr. Eugene Mallove was a FReeper who was murdered two days ago.
Dr. Mallove was a scientific accurate cold fusioneer,
the best voice in the community and an MIT alumnus ('69).
The recent grandfather was brutally murdered Friday in Connecticut.
He wrote the seminal 1991 book "Fire from Ice: Searching for the Truth behind the Cold Fusion Furor".
Dr. Gene will be very missed on Free Republic.
May God help and comfort his family, wife Joanne, son Ethan and daughter Kim.
We greatly miss him already.

I had read a headline here yesterday that said he had died, but I didn't know he was murdered.
My prayers for him and his family.
I know other world-class scientists have been killed and "committed suicide" since 911.
