It has come to this. In discussing Iraq, the Abu Ghraib abuses and the beheading of Nick Berg, Katie Couric summarized the situation in this way:
"It seems like it's become of question of who is the lesser of two evils."
That's right. Katie Couric wondered aloud who might be more evil - Al Qaeda, which, in addition to beheading Nick Berg, murdered 3,000 innocent people on 9/11, or the United States of America.
And please don't imagine for a second that Matthews came to the defense of the US. When Katie asked Matthews for his reaction to the statement from Sen. Zell Miller to the effect that the Abu Ghraib prisoners had underwear put on their heads whereas Berg was left with no head, Matthews completely, yes completely, ignored Berg's beheading.
His answer was entirely devoted to condemning the US for actions that made us look like 'perverts.'
Can Today, Katie Couric and Chris Matthews sink any lower? I suppose anything is possible, but they are going to have to work hard at it after this morning's despicable performance.
A fair question and one that is frequently posed. The whimsical answer is that I do it out of masochism. The serious one is that I think it's worthwhile to keep track of what one of the most widely-watched and, yes, influential outlets of the liberal media is up to.
Actually, Clinton only got slightly less than 50% of the 50% of Americans who voted. In both elections, only about 50 percent of the voting population went out to the polls. Clinton got slightly less than 50 percent of that. It is sad to say that he won with less than 25 percent of Americans voting for him.
No, she is sane, but when hatred takes over it is difficult to hide the rage under a perky face. Actually, you can see the metamorphis taking place all over this country now. It will soon be time to weed them out.
I'm surprised that Katie didn't get Michael Berg on. Daddy Berg seems to be selling the lib/dem talkingpoints, hook, line and sinker. Katie wouldn't even have to prompt him or set up the editorialized questions. Daddy Berg seems already to be on the same page.
I was thinking the same thing in waiting for the show to come on. I can't believe Today chose not to invite him on. They would love it. I have to assume that at least for the time being he is not doing interviews. But I'm guessing that he'll turn up with Katie before long.
Someone help me understand this, please. Why is what the guards did in Iraq a "perversion," when the same acts performed by President Clinton in the White House were "just sex?" I'm confused.
Katie Katie Katie.............aaaaaaaahhhhhh Katie, you stupid little airheaded b**ch.
governs does it as a service..He ruins his digestion and protects ours..It's opposition research...Sometimes I peek when he reports Perkie get hammered by a guest as mine comes on later. I have not watched in years otherwise..
Comments like these will soon have his TV show on CB
You should relay this to the MRC. Many thanks for the Today Show reports.
I heard Michael Berg blame Bush for his son's death. He is disgraceful...no wonder his son left home a lot. May Nick's murderers be found and punished.
Aw forget the test. Just drop her off in a known Al Queada area. Who cares if she returns.
Why do you torture yourself by watching Katie the Kave Troll every day?
Done! Thanks for the suggestion.
43%, as a matter of fact.
Thank you, again for your service. Enjoy the weekend.
