Nick Berg Death *WORSE* Than Video - Throat Cutting Scene Edited

A few seconds after Nick Berg is pushed over and the knife put to his neck the clock skips from 2:44:12 to 2:45:47 during the throat cutting. 1:35 of clumsy hacking and screaming were edited out. Islam requires a sharp knife and quick kill but this was not.

The sound runs 5 to 7 seconds ahead of the video. That is why the yelling starts before anyone moves. The reader audibly clears his throat at 2:42:32 but covers his mouth at 2:42:38.

I'm another woman who viewed the video yesterday (I'm a grandmother, many times over). I think every American except small children and mentally unstable people should see it. It has nothing whatsoever to do with ghoulish curiosity, it has everything to do with seeing what we are up against.

The reason so many people are more interested in being "fair" to our enemies is because they haven't the slightest idea how horrid our enemies really are. Seeing gets the information into the brain a whole lot better than just hearing about it. We Americans have got to steel ourselves for additional horrid events if we don't eliminate these slimeballs.

There's a clip on the internet of a Russian soldier being beheaded in Chechnya. Same use of a dull knife. Same laborious slicing off of the head. That's the way these Islamic demons, murderers like it, to heighten the dramatic effect for the snuff film video cassettes they circulate in Mosques and on websites.

My own reaction. It was the most cowardly act I've ever seen. A guy, bound and kicked to the floor. And then a gang of guys with guns, knives (plus a good night's sleep and recent meals) simply use a knife to butcher Nick. I really hate to stoop to this, but I have to admit that my hand was clenching, wanting to grasp a warm hilt holding cold steel. Visions of demonstrating to the animals how one smites with honor. These cowards do not give the impression of wanting to face TEXAS STEEL face to face. Cowards!

Unfortunately, his friends have the highest IQ's. My son's math ability is well above the average HS senior's. His friends reflect similar natural intelligence.

I totally agree with you. Unfortunately the majority of the world will not see the video. I suspect many because they don't WANT to know and it's easier to stay in a state of denial when one chooses to remain in ignorance.

I am a woman and I watched it. I allowed my 17 yo son to watch it as well.

I think as women & mothers we are at an important cross-road. I love being a woman...the soft side and all the fluff (as we say) that can go with it. But I think in this war & the attitude of the "US is the bad guy", we must toughen up. My kiddies are a bit older...so if they watch it, it's totally up to them. But had I been in your shoes...I would have offered my 17 yr. the option to watch it.
