May 12, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - A young American contractor in Iraq was mercilessly beheaded by Islamic terrorists on a horrifying videotape released yesterday as so-called revenge for the abuse of Iraqi prisoners. The sickening video, posted on an al Qaeda-linked Web site, shows a killer identified as terror boss Abu Musab Zarqawi sawing off the head of a screaming Nick Berg.

Beheading is a long standing custom in the islamofacist world. It is the method of execution by the saudi government also. If you noticed, these guys were not novices to cutting off a head, they had done this many times before.

It demands a dramatic response for the world to see. He must drop a major bomb or several major bombs on a military target / terrorists right now and in front of the international press.

We should create renderings of Laden having his head cut off with special effects along with all their leaders and have that spread through the net for their personal consumption and fear regarding their future.

You know, thats a prety good idea. Get hollywood to make a short clip of OBL getting his head cut off by some Pakistani Soldier(gives us deniability) and send it over the airways. That might get the desired response.

YOu know, I'm reading T.E Lawrence's "Seven Pillars of Wisdom". He says in the book that the British Empire was aware of the risks involved in supporting the Arab uprising against the Turks. He says (the book is written in 1932, IIRC) that he dreaded the day when Arabs would no longer be forced to spend their energy fighting against the desertic conditions of their land.

He also said that, if at the time of the Arab uprising the Arabs had gotten rid of this problem, he would have strongly advised not to help them for fear of seeing them turining against the West.
