Slain contractor Nick Berg's father was a signatory on International A.N.S.W.E.R.'s "Call to Action" on March 20, 2004, to "End colonial occupation from Iraq to Palestine."

While my own personal outrage for his murder can only be matched by prayers for the family I cannot help but wonder if his father will wind up on Larry King Live denouncing the War on Terrorism.

Very likely the same Michael S. Berg on the petition. Nick was probably following in his father's business or took it over from him.

Maybe he wasn't like his dad but there were some questions surrounding why this guy was in Iraq... could it be that he was there for the same reason the Japanese activists-turned-hostages were in Iraq and things didn't go as planned?

Actually, I doubt it. King, the media, etc., will not show this guy. His links to ANSWER will prevent it. The conservative response is all too readily predictable, and if there's -one- thing the media will not risk, it's actually having to report honestly on International ANSWER and what it means to be a member.

That's my prediction anyway. This father will get no airplay. Let's see who's right.

PREDICTION: Michael Berg will be showcased at the International A.N.S.W.E.R. rally in DC, LA or SFO on June 5th and the media will take a pass on mentioning that even now International A.N.S.W.E.R. says on it's website:

"Unconditional Support" is unconditional. Therefore, A.N.S.W.E.R. supports those who killed Nick Berg. And Michael Berg supports A.N.S.W.E.R.
