DUBAI, May 11 (Reuters) - An Islamist Web site said Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, an ally of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, was the man who cut off the head of an American in Iraq in a video tape shown on the site on Tuesday.

A masked man had read out a statement before the killing which was signed off with the name of Zarqawi and dated May 11.

In case anyone had any doubts about what we are up against, this should clarify them. Our enemy - islam - is a ruthless cult that drives its adherents to this level of depravity based on some equally depraved promise in eternity if they die in the "cause". This should make it clear that there can be no negotiation, no "dialogue", no compromise with islam. We are in a fight to the end - it will be them or us.

We need to close ranks, buck up, show a united front. "A house divided shall not stand". We are clearly divided and the muslims are exploiting that division. If this is going to turn into a war of videos and propaganda, then let's try this one. Produce a video of AMERICAN troops blatantly wiping the tips of their ammunition with pig guts. include the same process on all grenades, Claymores, crew served weapons etc. These radical islamists might think twice when even being nicked by some AMERICAN steel causes them to lose their place in heaven.
