Bush's Backing of Rumsfeld Shocks and Angers Arabs

DUBAI (Reuters) - Arab commentators reacted with shock and disbelief on Monday over President Bush (news - web sites)'s robust backing of Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld against calls for his resignation.
Critics had called for him to quit after the furor over the abuse of Iraqi prisoners but analysts, editors and ordinary Arabs were united in their condemnation of Bush who said the United States owed Rumsfeld a "debt of gratitude."
"After the torture and vile acts by the American army, President Bush goes out and congratulates Rumsfeld. It's just incredible. I am in total shock," said Omar Belhouchet, editor of the influential Algerian national daily El Watan.
"Bush's praise for Rumsfeld will discredit the United States...and further damage its reputation, which is already at a historic low in the Arab world," he added.

Darn, I missed the "Loose lips sink ships" warning. Please disregard my previous message about Mossad agents disguising themselves as Reuters reporters.

"Islam,"--so Far--Has "Demonstrated Itself to be" a "MURDEROUS CULT," Incapable of ANY Form of "Human Compassion!"
The "Crusades" have CLEARLY SHOWN that "Christians" are--AT LEAST--as "Capable of Inhuman Atrocities" as are "Christian Humans!!"
HOW SAD!!
We THOUGHT we were "Better!!'"
DESPITE our Failure & Stupidity, we are OBLIGED TO Maintain the "Order & Commerce" of our "Feifdoms."
We have a "Social Order" Which we accept as a "GOD-Given Obligation" Passed Down by MANY Generations of our Forefathers. `
We "Humans" carry a "Burden;" WE are--So Far-- the "Seed " of "Earthlife!!"
MANY MILLENIA from Now,--With Luck--we MAY BE attempting to "Communicate With" our Remote Descendants!!
WHAT FUN!!

I certainly don't.
I would like to remind both Reuters and the sandmaggot Mass Murderers, however, that I am still in shock and disbelief over the 911 incident, and still waiting for an apology and compensation for the damage done, the lives lost and the outrageous extra expenses since then for added security and productive time lost.
Still waiting...

Why don't I hear the Arab commentators expressing outrage at the real atrocities being committed by the Palis?
The and one thing all arabs have in common is their hatred for and desire to destroy Israel.
To: ambrose
Bush should convert to Islam-- then he could torture and kill all the Muslims he wants and they wouldn't be so upset....

In principle I care about how we treat prisoners.
Just not THESE prisoners.
These people believe in a 'religion' that wants our DEATH, individually and as a culture.
So, no- I don't give a microscopic damn about how this enemy is treated. In fact, anything short of outright execution is too damn good, in my opinion.

Those arabs are strange birds.
I'm sure even that little comment will shock and anger them.
To: Dr. Frank fan
As usual, the media speaks of "Arabs" as if they are a monolithic group which thinks exactly alike. I've never been frustrated by it. Having been very familiar with the cultural mindset of Islam, I have believed this all along.
What is a contradiction is the liberals and other morons holding this statement to be true, yet also believing that there are any "innocent" muslims. They are all either active killers, or enablers.

IN principle-I believe what has happened is nasty stuff, tho we have all heard of worse.
What I am absolutely sickened by is the fact that our press is so willing to carry the story without saying, over and over and over and over, that the few who enjoyed their bruising of the prisoners DO NOT IN ANY WAY REPRESENT THE MILITARY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
That, and the fact, of course, that over 6,000 pages of investigation were already in the can before the pictures were presented to the press. THAT STORY SHOULD BE OUT THERE, big time.
I resent ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, NPR, MSNBC and most especially the NYT and LAT. What a bunch of small minded, narrow visioned, agenda driven jerks can be found therein.
Genuinely agenda driven crap from our own most special brand of hitlerian propagandizers. Without the balance, they are willing to hurt our nation, our military forces, our spirit and resolve in order to boost their liberal alliances.
