In his latest election-year stunt to undermine the Bush administration -- and our national resolve to finish the job in Iraq -- John Kerry has launched a petition calling for the resignation of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. Kerry claims that Secretary Rumsfeld should be held personally responsible for the actions of a few soldiers in Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison who humiliated a group of the captive terrorists in their search for "actionable intelligence." This is the same John F. Kerry, by the way, who has alternately employed claims of his Vietnam wartime heroism and wartime criminality to catapult himself into the highest echelons of public life over the past three decades. Kerrys irrational call for Rumsfelds resignation, harkening back to his days as a Vietnam War protestor, is anything but out of the ordinary for the "gentleman from Massachusetts." His campaign claims that petition has received about 250,000 signatures. Act now to refute this political folly and support Secretary Rumsfeld.

I hope you're right, but considering some of the posted articles I've read today, I'm not taking any chances. Thank you!

Why save Rumsfeld? Because of his poor planning and lack of manpower...he caused this mess. I don't think we should court martial the service members, just let them go and get rid of Rumsfeld. He over extended everyone in the military. It is all his fault. The soldier's were ill prepared to handle prisoners, poorly trained, harsh working conditions and under extreme stess. They couldn't help taking their frustration out of the Iraqi prisoners.
Prove me wrong!

I think this is extremely important. Because you KNOW the petition that John Kerry started calling for Rumsfeld's resignation is going to get media coverage all day long(despite the fact that 70% of Americans polled want Rumsfeld to stay as Secretary of Defense).

"John Kerry has launched a petition calling for the resignation of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld."
HANOI KERRY
has a Campaign Platform
Just like the old days!
"It is a fact that in the entire Vietnam War we did not lose one major battle.
We lost the war at home and at home John Kerry was the field general"
- Bob Elder, Swift Boat Veteran For Truth
"I do not believe John Kerry is fit to be commander in chief of the U.S. armed forces,"
said retired Rear Adm. Roy Hoffmann, chairman of the organization.
"This is not a political issue. It is a matter of honesty."
Hanoi Kerry at his "moment of glory."
What a piece of ******
The media WILL NOT mention this book.
I will!
The cover is a insult to Iwo Jima vets,
then it gets worse towards Viet Nam vets.
I was there the same time Hanoi Kerry was.
I served on the destroyer USS Corry DD-817 which supplied Swift Boats (PBR's)
and gave gunfire support in North AND South Viet Nam.
My ship may have even supplied Hanoi Kerry's boat.
I VOW I will do everything I LEGALLY can
to keep this traitor from being elected.
I owe it to those who gave their all.

Why save Rumsfeld?...Because if he falls, he will merely be the first of many dominoes. Do you want us to lose the war in Iraq? Do you want Bush to lose in November? Do you want us to lose the WOT? And so, while I am not absolving Rumsfeld of all responsibility, and do not desire to see seven enlisted men scapegoated, I also have no intention of letting him twist in the wind, because if that happens, we will all be twisting right along with him.
