Rush was not right.Rush was right about one thing he said yesterday. After he heard that President Bush apologized to the king of Jordan he said the next thing coming will be compensation to the abused prisoners. Rumsfeld said exactly that.

I'm so sorry these terrorist animals were treated like animals instead of being shot. I don't know if you are kidding or not but that is EXACTLY what Joe Biden said on the Senate floor yesterday. He said they would have been better off if they had been shot. I'm NOT kidding you.

"No info on war but this stuff goes on in prisons in the US and in schools (remember that football stuff) and there are no major hearings on TV and no governors are thrown out of office..."
Excellent point about prisons/governors. Male-on-male prison rape is epidemic but rarely makes the news and is rarely punished, nor are there mass firings of prison wardens.

Warner: I would anticipated you have consulted with colleagues in CENTCOM and will continue to assess increase.
Myers: We will not underestimate impact. It was the pictures that prompted him to try to delay. thought pictures would have bad effect on troops, perhaps resulting in death to our forces.
