All the officer's I work with, do not have nice things to say about her...and it is NOT a "GENDER" thing...it's her lack of military bearing, the environment she allow to be created under her command, the heinous nature of the crimes they committed, but mostly, the way she turned her head and looked the other way (considering of course she in no way participated in any of the things that were done).

What do you think their Convention could turn so chaotic and manke them look terrible? I hope. I hope they show their terrible, treasonous face to all of America.

But I am afraid (and reports on Drudge indicate) that the Left has infiltrated the GOP convention and that we will have a nightmarish convention. I hopoe that isn't the case.

The commander of the prison service in Iraq, Brigadier-General Janis Karpinski, 50, has been suspended from duty and is expected to be charged.

Sources also said soldiers at Abu Ghraib, where Saddam Hussein was held after his capture, were often drunk - including when the shocking pictures were taken.

You can't be much lamer than the old "someone else would have beaten us to the air" argument. Especially since it was flat out stated showing these pictures placed our troops in harm's way.

BTW, speaking of the "news good or bad"...Um, did Dan see fit to cover the Swiftboat Vets against Kerry press conference the other day? And if he did---what spin did he give it?

It's really not to hard to figure out what happened here...THis was a NG unit that was deployed...I"m NOT indicting the entire GUARD..but you probably had the junior officers with NO previous deployment in a combat area, and because they trained and drilled with the EM's back home..military discipline got lax..but if someof the FG officers had beendoing their job, and paid a few surprise visits to the prison during the graveyard shifts..they would have caught it, and stopped it..asap/
