.......and could really piss the public off. It did not matter to them when they contributed to the deaths of GI's in Nam.
They won't blink an eye!
They will send them to a British paper if needed.

Is the Hildebeast not going to get a chance to get her mug on TV? It's going to be close, Rummy leaves @ 2:30.
To: cake_crumb
I can't believe Byah asked that question

Bayh: "Would your stepping down go far to repair the damage?"
Rumsfeld: "It's possible".
Damn. Just damn.
To: Mo1
I think that's what Rummy's saying: if he did search out criminal files for things like this, he risks compromising those trials. If he doesn't, he risks something like this. Damned if you do, damned if yuo don't.

There will be enough time made to ensure the Hildebeast gets to put forth her part in the inquisition.
Seems to me many of the senators would like to be in the position of the prison guards and chain Rumsfeld to a wall or put him on a leash.

Wow! Evan Bayh asks Rummy if some problems would be alleviated if he stepped down. A visible livid Rummy says: "That's probable." Bayh, chastised, says thanks for the candid answer. Wow.
To: McGruff; All
I think Rumsfeld is going to quit. He's clearly had enough of the crap in DC. Any ideas on who would replace him?
To: highlandbreeze
Oohhh, where did you hear that? I hope it's true!Heard it on the radio - ABC News top of the hour report at 1:00. Something tells me that's one poll that will be spiked hard.

LOL.....my dog knows MANY bad words, lucky she doesn't speak....from me yelling at the TV....and she cowers, especially when H&C or other DEMS are on....
To: Peach
NO! I don't want Rummy to go! We need adults in charge!
To: BulletBobCo
Bayh - would it serve for Rummy to step down.
Rummy - I suppose.
Ugh, enough with the resigning. It's better to show the world our leaders can and will prosecute those who break the law.
To: Peach
Rumsfeld said his stepping down could possibly go far to repair the damage.

Oh it's Bayh? That figures. I'm listening, not watching, and miss stuff while trying to keep up with this thread. He's SUCH a DNC hack.
