Madrid case leads to lawyer in Oregon

Federal agents on Thursday detained a Washington County lawyer in connection with the deadly March 11 terrorist attack in Madrid -- the first American connection to the worst terrorist attack since Sept. 11, 2001.

Brandon Mayfield, 37, who lives in Aloha and played a minor legal role in the Portland Seven terrorism case, was picked up at his West Slope law office on a material witness hold Thursday morning, said Tom Nelson, Mayfield's attorney.

What's interesting is that in a picture of Mr. and Mrs. Mayfield and the kids which is maybe 5 years old, they are totally dressed in American clothes. Her hair is pouffy and absolutely no sign of Muslim wear as in her recent picture with the Muslim signature headpiece. The difference is so distinct, I'd almost say the Muslim garb is an "act".

My concern with him is "Muslim Rights" after 9-11. ALL PEOPLE HAVE RIGHTS.

I know I am not alone in my beliefs the "moderate" segment of Islam is an equal partner with the radical segment. They serve a purpose. They lull people into believing Islam can be our friend.
