Hey, at least Hannity didn't write a F'n book.
I'm glad Sean feels that way - I heard what he said on the radio, and I was kinda dumbstruck. Sean, you have more fans and support on Free Republic than you realize, don't let a small number of active loudmouths convince you different.

Great to hear this from Sean...... I just wish he would drop Lanny Davis as a guest! Less Lanny Davis and more of The Great One Dr Marc Levin!

That's very nice. Sean loves America, and that is obvious. He raises money for fallen soldier's kids (Freedom Alliance), and that's a great thing. He is very supportive of President Bush in general, and that's a good thing. He is family oriented, and that's a good thing. I wish he wasn't so busy so he had more time to read more on FR, I think it would only help him.

Go Sean. Happy to have you on the air!

I haven't fully recovered from Sean investigating Flipper releasing Larry the Lobster into a freshwater pond.

I think Sean Hannity is doing a great service for the conservative movement. Think about the huge number of people that tune in to him on both radio and TV each day.

He is likeable enough that I would bet he will convince many fence-sitters and moderates to vote for GW.

He also gives the libs a fair shake on his shows. I would say this type of format could even sway some of the more moderate Dems.

My problem with Sean besides pushing his books a trillion times is that he thinks he is more hip than he really is.He is not in touch with hipness and looks foolish when he tries.

Other than that...I'm glad he's on our side.

I hope Sean has seen the poll.

Question ...

Sean Hannity recently expressed on the air that something like 80% of the FReepers now hate him. I sincerely doubt that is correct. I think he was fed some misinformation. What say you?

I like and appreciate Sean Hannity very much - 63%

I like Sean, but he's too "conservative" - 1%

I like Sean, but he's not "conservative" enough - 5%

I like Sean, but he's too commercial - 14%

I don't like Bush and I don't like Sean - 3%

I like Bush, but not Sean - 5%

Undecided - 2%

Pass - 5%

If you add up the 63% that like him with the 14% that like him but say he's too comercial you get alost 80% of us that like him.

Sean you got your original numbers *ss backwards.

It's interesting that you see him that way. I don't think of him that way at all. He always talks about how he was a geek (or the equivalent--not his exact words) when he was in high school and that he's still shocked when women call up and tell him they love him or that he's handsome. I always think that he doesn't think of himself as hip at all--quite the opposite.

I heard Sean is one of those Neo-conversationists.

Sometimes, when I forget what Sean said 3 or 4 years ago, I just turn on the radio and listen to it again.

Good. Sean did a great job yesterday (May 5) of putting into context and perspective the "torture" of prisoners in Iraq.

I was one of those who said she liked Sean but felt he was too commercial. I do like him. I just wish he (or his staff) would regularly read FReeper posts before conducting interviews on certain issues, because I believe FReepers have a lot of great insight that would make his arguments "more nuanced" (I know, gag, but the folks on the left like that stuff) and less partisan-appearing.

And I am probably one of the few who also likes Colmes. He's wrong, but for the most part, he is respectful of his guests. As long as you know ahead of time that he will just parrot the DNC/Socialist line, and not expect him to think for himself, he is tolerable.
