Are Democrats welcome here?
Posted on 05/06/2004 9:09:25 AM PDT by joe_northrop
Is anyone of the Democratic persuasion welcome here, or are you crazy Republicans going to kick me off? Do any of you know how freaking ridiculous things are getting with George Bush in office? Let's do the list: assaults the environment, rising unemployment, rising gas prices, rising hatred of us across the globe, a phony war with over 700 Americans dead, POW torture, overtime pay almost done away with.....the list goes on and on. It's CRAZY.

President Bush could have avoided a lot of problems had he just sat in his office getting pizza and blowjobs.Fabulous response. Right to the point and just about says it all.

I'm a registered Democrat (only for lack of anything better, and don't assume I'm a fan of Clinton OR Kerry), a San Francisco resident, a secular humanist who's married to a member of the intellectual elite, and perhaps worst of all, a cat owner, and I've felt welcome in the short time I've been here. You're welcome here, along with your cat! Have you signed up for the weekly kitty ping list yet?

Do any of you know how freaking ridiculous things are getting with George Bush in office? I guess if you call honor and integrity, "freakin ridiculous". I guess if you call action instead of talk, "freaking ridiculous". I guess if you call not sexually harassing young interns and destroying political enemies with lies and intimidation, "freaking ridiculous". I guess if you call not using the White House as a prostitute, "freaking ridiculous". I guess if you call not selling ICBM technology to the Chinese Military, "freaking ridiculous". I guess if you call not selling pardons to corporate crooks, terrorists and drug dealing felons, "freaking ridiculous".
I guess if you call REAL tax cuts for the middle class, "freaking ridiculous". I guess if you call not bombing countries to distract the country from sexual harassment crimes (which Clinton signed into law), "freaking ridiculous". I guess if you call not violating 'campaign finance laws' (see ChiCom illegal fundraising), "freaking ridiculous".
You are "freaking ridiculous."

Btw, cat's don't have "owners", they have "staff".

You don't extrapolate well.

"I predict a warm, cozy relationship with you Freepers,"
Judging by the many of the posts here I very much doubt that. I was told to "Grow up, moron" just for saying I think it would be good to have a differing viewpoint. As one freeper pointed out to me (and I accept his opinion) this site was set up as a liberal-free zone.

Thanks! Pretty obscure reference -- I'm glad someone got it. I've been wanting to do that picture for years, but didn't have the "talent in a box" (a.k.a. software) until last week.

Right? RIGHT? That is exactly what Bill Clinton said to Betty Currie, when he was coaching her how to lie to the Grand Jury. "Monica and I were never along, right? RIGHT!"
Don't get snippy or hysterical.
And, no, it wasn't "all about sex." It was about perjury and obstruction of justice for violating a law Bill Clinton signed into law for the "women's movement". He lied and attepted to destroy the womEN he used and abused. He was impeached, held in 'contempt of court' and disbarred. He was saved by the Democrat Senators who obstructed justice by flagrantly disregarding their 'oath of impartial justice'.

Guess you got your answer, Joe. Not that you're around to read it.

Democrats are allowed, but if they start spouting rhetoric rather than honest debate, then they get banend, liek you.
IF they keep spouting teh tired party hack lines and talking points, they get banned.
IF they keep spouting libelous crap and slander, they get banned.
Following so far?
IF they honestly discuss valid points and hold honest conversation without slinging crap like you did right off the bat, they can stay.
But, considering that so far very few can hold an adult conversation without slinging garbage, there are few Democrats that post here.

Hi JmyBryan,
Costa Rica *is* a nice place - wonderful place in fact. I just got back from a trip there a few months ago. CR has a republican form of government, and has hard-working and friendly citizens.
As a result, CR so nice that I'd hate to inflict a DUmmie like this on the Costa Ricans. Perhaps we should suggest insteard that he'd prefer one of the many socialist paradises to choose from. He'd fit right in. :)

I have been considering a vote for Kerry too! I figure we might as well and take that plunge into socialism so we can have the 2nd Revolution quicker. I hope to someday live in a free country again.
