Please US, keep walking!

Hoorah. That was the right thing to do. Now we should withdraw from the UN altogether and stop funding this criminal organization.

Glad our delegate walked out. And how the Sudanese delegate can compare a few stripped Iraqi prisoners to wholesale genocide is stunning.
To: cyncooper
Don't you just love that? A government that condones human rights abuses chastises a government that does not because of the actions of a few soldiers...

We should head for the door, keep right on walking and tell the UN they have 6 months to vacate.

Even more pathetic is that half of this country sees the U.N. not only as legitimate, but deserving of greater power over the sovereignty of the United States.

I don't think the U.S. delegates should have walked out. I think they should have got up and said. "That's it! All of you! Get out!"

This is one of the many reasons I look forward to a second Bush/Cheney term. They want to do something about the UN.

"alleged ethnic cleansing [in The Sudan] . . . turning a blind eye to atrocities committed by the U.S. . . ."
Notice how the ethnic cleansing (hundreds of thousands of deaths in The Sudan, well-documented by human rights organizations), are called "alleged", whereas the claim of American "atrocities" is accepted at face value.

The US should invade Sudan, and ethnically cleanse it from the worthless Moslem Arabs. The bastards have been doing that for twelve years, and two million dead Christians.
To: cyncooper
Countries such as Sudan should never have even had a voice in the UN, not to mention a place on the human rights body.
The sooner we are out of this thing, the better.
To: cyncooper
Good. Walk out completely and then tell them to take the UN and station it in Europe for while. Get the heck (and it) out.

SUDAN of all countries, on the Human Rights Commission? The same Sudan that still has slavery, genocide, etc? The UN can't be taken seriously anymore.

Excellent news! The UN needs to be dismantled. If they had a group dismantling would the Sudanese bring their infamous machetes???

The time is ripe!
Get the UN out of the US and into a "deserving" needy African nation where the delegates, administrators and other assorted flunkies can spend their largesse (largely furnished by the USA) in an economy that needs a terrific boost.
Zimbabwe comes to mind. There, no one would worry about the double-parking and traffic offenses. In Zimbabwe (or Zimbabyou, Zimbabme) they could run down countless numbers of the populace and no one would care.
Goodbye UN. Hello US sovereinty. Has a nice ring, don't you think?

We have a veto, so may as well stay in the UN. But I think the UN head quarters should move someplace else, it stinks up where ever it is, get it out of the USA.
