"...established after the 1991 Gulf War, is protected by U.S.-British air patrols."

Meaningless joke that has been commented on by Rumsfeld and others on more than one occasion and does not take away from the central fact that the Kurds worked with us to rid their land of the terrorists.

No, I mean Iran. He had as much control in Iran as he did in the Kurdish area where Ansar had their hq. So what's the difference?

You can throw about the Chalabi allegations all you want, but that is not the premise of this article.

Prove he didn't? You are joking, right?

Prove Prince Turki al-Faisal didn't know about 9-11 beforehand.

Finally, you made the right point. THEIR land. NOT Saddam's. So how does an operation on Kurdish territory prove links to Saddam?

I haven't mentioned Chalabi so I don't know who you mean about throwing an allegation around.

You are asserting that Saddam has as much control in Iran as he did in the Kurdish territories? ROFLMAO

Now I see the problem. I am dealing with someone who doesn't know their elbow from their arse.

Fair enough: Douglas Feith was Chalabi's chief cheer leader. Feith either committed treason or he is incompetent beyond explanation. I would need proof or evidence in order to support the death penalty in this case but he acted to subvert the institutions of this Republic which is a supreme act of anti-patriotism or my use of the term 'treason.'

...at "training camps in Afghanistan" == BinLaden and AlQe

..."plotted in Iraq with ... al-Zarqawi", prior to 9/11 == Hussein & sons.

It is immaterial whether al-Zarqawi or al-Zawahiri or another al-phabet is the person in Iraq - the material fact is plotting in IRAQ - and that SH and crew iron-fisted that country.

How tough is it to admit clear proof and say you are wrong?

It is easier to maintain your own credibility in other things if you admit when you are wrong. Really, it does. Now might be a good time to try it!

Only the area in question was not part of the "Iraq" that SH controlled.

"In an interview broadcast by ABC, the leader of the Al Qaeda cell organizing the explosive and chemical attack on the Jordanian security headquarters and the American Embassy in Jordan stated that he received his training from Al-Zawahiri in Iraq, prior to the fall of Afghanistan. Jordanian authorities beleive this attack could have killed tens of thousands of people.

This and many other links prove beyond doubt that Saddam Hussein's Iraqi regime was support Al Qaeda terrorists who plotted and executed attacks on Americans and our allies.

We now also know that many countries and politicians against deposing Saddam Hussein were compromised by the world's biggest corruption scheme: Billions of bribes paid in the UN's 'oil-for-food' program.

Now we see Democrat politicians putting partisanship above politics, by blaming America for violence that is caused by terrorists and the Jihadist Islamofascist ideology that supports such violence, falsely claiming that Saddam was not a terrorist supporter, and calling for the corrupt UN to 'help' us in Iraq.

We do the right thing against terror and it is called wrong; our own leaders betray us worse than our enemies; and a corrupt institution is revered. The world is turned upside down. "

Gee, I didn't know there was a sovereign Kurdish country north of Iraq. Here all this time, I thought where the Kurds were living was in Iraq. Under the control of Iraq's dictator. Silly me. ;)

A Jordanian AQ member has said he trained for WMD in Iraq with OBL's henchman.

You are the one saying constantly that Saddam had no control over the Kurdish territories - which has been disputed by nearly every bit of reporting I have ever seen as well as Freepers on this thread.

Your pretense that Saddam didn't control the WMD in Iraq and those who trained others to use them is something very few people would buy into. But it seems to bring you great security.

So you side with Chalabi's unproven asserstions about Salman Pak and against the assessment of the United States Intelligence services?

You are of course aware of the assessment the CIA gave on Salman Pak aren't you?

I'm still waiting for your proof that Salman Pak wasn't what it was claimed to be. The link you provided merely mentioned that information about it had been included in the reports.

You are of course aware that Salmon Pak was used to train terrorists to hijack planes. Don't bother to deny this central fact.

Whether or CIA goofed up at some point in regard to Salmon Pak does not take away from the central point that terrorists of all stripes trained there to do pretty much what happened on 9/11.
