"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

UH-OH! A gas mask? Good grief.

One possibility: The jihadis cruise along major highways, looking for a truck carrying hazardous materials. When they spot one, they cut it off. Oh my! That's an interesting thought!

Oh, your garden is beautiful. Love seeing your photos and they bring such a sense of America for all of us.
Looks nothing like my yard, LOL, paving mine over would be an improvement. :)
Found this at Terrorist Warning:
USA - Terrorists ready for holy war in 40 American states [ There are also reports that Al Qaeda has up to 40 'suitcase' 1 kiloton nukes]
"FBI spokesman said al Qaeda and allied organisations were thought to be operating in 40 American states"

"Al Qaeda is under pressure to strike another "high-value" Western target and may be looking at attacking chemical plants or shooting down planes with surface-to-air missiles, a top German intelligence official said Tuesday"

THAT is so beyond evil, I can't wrap my mind around it.

You have my sympathy. That's the price we pay to live in the Pacific NW. The weather here has been so unusually warm I've had a hard time resisting the urge to drag out all the veges and flowers starts I have in the greenhouse. At 2000 ft. elevation it could frost for another month.

OMG, paragraph # 6 in the story linked below struck me as funny, but it really isn't funny!
"The directive's 59 instructions for government agencies range from figuring out the best way to communicate the warning: "You need to now leave the city" to residents who don't speak English..."
For the full story: Bush approves presidential directive to protect U.S. from biological (terror)attack

Thanks Donna. I didn't take it for an "imminent strike" message. However, it did motivate me to think that none of us knows when "imminent" will actually be. That means its time to clean up my act and get the job completed. Putting things off generally is no big deal....unless it is one that could save your life and that of your loved one(s).

This came from Jill's site. SNIP:

There is alot more to this posting but I didn't copy it all. Pictures and writing too. Looks and sounds grim.

I was hoping SP could make some sense of it. They are boasting of course about the countries pulling out of Iraq. And the black winds thing again, that seems to be a continuing similarity throughout all their postings no matter which site or person it comes from. The baker ?? and what I posted yesterday about the food secret, I don't know.

One report I read or maybe it was on tv, said that one of the trains was carrying dynamite. But who knows yet what was really happening.

Witness: N. Korean disaster was preventable
http://english.kbs.co.kr/news/newsview_sub.php?menu=8&key=1004042901 Wednesday, April 28, 2004 22:02:29 Updated.
Anchor: Some people have testified that the disaster at Ryongcheon Railway Station in North Korea could have been prevented. A span of 40 minutes, during which the cargo trains were engulfed in flames, was the decisive moment that has determined the fate of many Ryongcheon residents. Correspondent Jang Han-sik reports from Dandong.
Reporter:
At 11:30 a.m. on April 22, a high-tension wire exploded, spewing sparks which turned into powerful flames that consumed the cargo trains. Station officials immediately rushed out to bring the fire under control to no avail.
Witness of the explosion at Ryongcheon Station:
When the high-tension wire was cut off, there was no train to haul the cars because they were electricity-driven engines. They could have hauled the trains, if they were driven by coal or oil.
Reporter:
About 20 minutes later, four dilapidated fire engines arrived, only to find that the task was beyond their capacity.
Witness of the explosion at Ryongcheon Station:
Fire engines arrived and tried to bring the fire under control for about 20 minutes. But it was no use.
Reporter:
The area in and around the station was crowded with people who had come to watch the fire during lunchtime, rather than taking shelter. At around 12:10 p.m., when signs of explosion became evident, station officials shouted, "Take shelter immediately!" But it was too late.
Witness of the explosion at Ryongcheon Station:
We thought it was just a common fire, and couldn't have possibly imagined the magnitude of the explosion.
Reporter:
A span of 40 minutes has determined the fate of many Ryongcheon residents. It was long enough to have the students from a nearby elementary school, which suffered the greatest damage, to take shelter.
It is heartbreaking to think that if people had responded to the accident with more composure, they could have prevented the massive explosion. Or at least, the damages could have been minimized.

"The state lists all of the reststops, and indicates which facilities are available. Of all the stops on I 5- only one rest area is "CLOSED".
It's this one:
005 Elkhorn At Sacramento International Airport
------------
I will be in that area tomorrow. I will go by and check it out."
-------------------
I drove by the I-5 rest stop today and yes, it is closed and has been for a while (supposedly for repairs to the septic system).
I did not see any evidence of any type of construction work being done. The ramps were closed off with concrete barriers.
Here's the interesting thing. This rest stop is in a rural area near the Sacramento International Airport and directly under the low flying incoming planes' flight paths. I saw two planes coming in. Also the rest stop is at the base of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge.
I say- Keep this rest stop closed permanently.

Rsala googles up Arabic names, message boards, etc. Poster by name of Rsala wrote lengthy arabic message on 2/22/04. I haven't a clue what any of this means, just wanted to know about Rsala's.

This is completely off the wall, but, "food secret" combined with "baker" made me think of bread yeast; which expands and grows (kind of). Made me think of mushroom cloud. Like I said, kind of off the wall random thinking.

At 2000 ft. elevation it could frost for another month.I'm at 4600 ft. The mountains immediately east of me rise to 6700 ft. To the south, the mountains rise to 8700 ft. North and west is the Snake River Plain. Nice sunsets and fierce wind storms. If I go east about 1/4 mile, I have a clear view 90 miles across the Arco desert.

The "baker" mixes the ingredients: time + location + quality + quantity. In essence, the "baker" is the guy making the decisions about where, when and how the attacks are going to take place.
