In an interview published Friday in the LOS ANGELES TIMES, Dem presidential hopeful John Kerry claimed he "never ever implied" that he threw his own medals on the Hill in 1971 to appear as an antiwar hero -- but a new shock video shows John Kerry's saying he did!
ABC's GOOD MORNING AMERICA is set to rock the political world Monday morning with an airing of Kerry's 1971 boast, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

They voted to throw. 'I didn't have my medals, so I threw my ribbons.' Huh? Was he in a habit of carrying his ribbons around with him in his pocket? Didn't he say that he didn't throw his medals because they were at home?
There are really only two scenarios that I can think of that fit here. One is that he didn't need to go home to get his ribbons (carries them on his person? seems weird for an anti-war activist), or that he went home to get the ribbons and deliberately left the medals at home.

You're pointing out the important part of the story. No one will care that he said 30+ years ago that he threw his medals. What people will care about (if they care at all), is that he has been claiming *now* that he never said that the medals were his, and the video prooves he has been lying now. It's the present behavior that people care about.

And since Ol' Crusty won't run? Certainly they wouldn't reach into that Fellini cast of primary candidates.... I like your word picture. About a week ago I saw some talking head suggest that Dean was actually the most viable candidate from that group...I couldn't help but spray my soda I was drinking as I laughed. Only problem with Dean is he's insane!

He said he reached into his shirt and tore off his ribbons.
LOL, loved 'em so much he glued 'em to his chest.
Excerpts just don't do the GMW interview justice.
We need a full, unedited video and a complete transcript.

If those reporters would only visit FR and search Kerry's name...funny how long it's taken them to catch on to Kerry's little "problems".

They are definitely Kerry's medals, and nobody else's.
I know this because THEY ENDED UP ON BOTH SIDES OF THE FENCE.

Don't forget that just prior to the last election they drug out bogus DUI charges.
That act alone narrowed the gap between President Bush and (former) VP Gore so watch for it to come up again.
In other words, the vote in Florida would have been meaningless.

Do you have a link to the story about the VV group plotting to assasinate senators? I don't know if this is what you want but so far it's the only thing I have found on the assassination plot.
FrontPageMagazine 4-8-04
"November 12-15, 1971 -- the VVAW leadership meets in Kansas City. Fearing surveillance by authorities, the group relocates the meeting to another building. They debate, then vote down a plan to assassinate several pro-war U.S. Senators. Several witnesses, meeting minutes and FBI records eventually place John Kerry at this meeting."

LOL.
BTW, how far exactly can one throw just ribbons, 3 or 4 feet? Kinda hard without a medal to give it weight. Perhaps an enterprising group should start having ribbon-tossing contests outside of Kerry functions. "The family's" ribbons, of course...

Threw medals? You must be mistaken, he never threw any medals, maybe YOU threw those medals, you ever think about that? Maybe it was MATT DRUDGE who threw those medals, not John Kerry...is it me, or is it him? It's him, isn't it? Nathan Thurm alert. Classic. LOL.
