WALLOWING IN NUANCE, DEMS LACK RESOLVE
-- Why John Kerry Will Lose In November!

That's the problem for the Democrats. If "resolve"' is the issue, can you beat it with "nuance"? If I had to name the definitive Kerry campaign headline it would be this, from Britain's (left-wing, Kerry-backing) Guardian last week: ''Kerry Says His 'Family' Owns SUV, Not He.'' That Chevy Suburban in the yard has nothing to do with him. Who you gonna believe? A respected senator or your lying eyes? ...

Kerry is so nuanced, it's surprising he's hasn't gone crosseyed.

What do you expect, he studied under Uncle Teddy who never took responsibility for anything.
"Er uh, I was driving over the Chappaquiddick Bridge when suddenly this girl who I think worked in my office jumped out of the back seat onto my lap, forcing my car into the river. I think she was on drugs."

Speaking of Big Ted... did you hear Hannity's show when they played Kennedy introducing sKerry? If you had tried, you couldn't have made Kennedy sound more ridiculous. And, it kept going on and on. Best thing that could happen to Dubya is having Ted scream at all of sKerry's cam-pain stops.

And do Americans want to hand over responsibility for Iraq to someone who won't even take responsibility for the car in his driveway? Steyn always sums it up nicely!

It depends on what the definition of "is" is.

When you dig into what's holding up American resolve on Iraq, the people seem to be making more subtle distinctions than their elites. I didn't choose my screen name on a whim. This is the point that all the talking heads seem to overlook.
This resolve is what changed on 911. The resolve to confront the forces of evil on their home ground instead of our home ground. The resolve to stick to a stance once we've staked ourselves to it. The resolve to not let the victims of 911 have died in vain.
This election is again, like 2002, all about security, security and nothing but security. The economy's nice I suppose, but most Americans now understand that you can't spend money if you're dead. That makes the economy secondary to security.
Godspeed and God Bless America!

In the recent Larry King/Hillary ..Empress Clintonius interview...noticed Hillary's eye contact and body language when Kerry/2004 was being discussed.
Kerry's done folks....you can see it in their countenance..they do not believe he is a winner.
America identifies with challange...from Business to War,..America wants to be moving in a certain direction..and removing the obsticles in the way.
Kerry offers no vision..no direction.
The Islamic extortion gambit is seen as a challenge worth confronting.
From pure violence/distruction terror..to the endless lying,
America has had enough of it...and will back President Bush in 2004.
The numbers for Kerry do not indicate a divided nation nor a non confidence vote,
they indicate how many are confused..and have trouble grasping reality : )

I thought it was interesting that the author referred to OBL as "the late Osama bin Laden".

LIBERAL DEMOCRATS v. CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS
There's a HUGE Difference
Throughout the 20th century, Liberal Democrats were in control of the legislative process in Florida and in Washington, D.C. However, with Republicans now leading the way, we are returning to the policies that made America great. The differences in the way we're governed reflect the core differences between the two parties.
CRIME REPUBLICANS BELIEVE that the needs of the communities and law-abiding citizens must take priority over those of criminals.
Liberal Democrats have an extremist record of placing the rights of criminals above all, including freeing violent criminals on legal technicalities.
NATIONAL DEFENSE REPUBLICANS BELIEVE that the only way to live free from foreign aggression is to maintain peace through strength.
Liberal Democrats would utilateraly disarm. They impose their agenda by continually voting to divert defense funds to expand social programs.
EDUCATION REPUBLICANS BELIEVE that students must be challenged to learn in a school environment that is safe for students and teachers. Parents must be offered more opportunities and options and the massive bureaucracy must be reduced.
Liberal Democrats have imposed discredited social experiments upon our schools, dumbing down the curriculum. Together with left-wing union bosses, they fight attempts to reduce the bloated education bureaucracy.
TAXES REPUBLICANS BELIEVE that Americans should keep more of what they earn through lower taxes and that tax policy should not suppress incentive by penalizing success.
Liberal Democrats relentlessly use propaganda to promote the failed premise that America can tax its way to prosperity. They wage class warfare against successful Americans through regressive taxes.
SPENDING REPUBLICANS have long believed that government should not spend more than it takes in and have consistently fought for a balanced budget.
Liberal Democrats have a sad history of spending taxpayers' money to expand government bureaucracy and fighting against a balanced budget.
MEDICARE/SOCIAL SECURITY REPUBLICANS BELIEVE that the senior's safety net must be preserved for today's beneficiaries and for the millions who will need it tomorrow.
Liberal Democrats shamelessly scare and frighten our seniors, acting as if nothing needs to be done, offering no solutions to a true problem.
GOD REPUBLICANS BELIEVE, as the founding fathers before us, that God was a major factor in the creation of this nation and that efforts to remove Him from society altogether must be reversed.
Liberal Democrats are aligned with extreme left-wing elements that God should be totally excluded from public utterances.

Steyn has asserted that bin Laden is dead for several years now. Despite the numerous audio tapes purported to be from bin Laden Steyn feels the absence of any video tapes, of which bin Laden was very fond prior to our attacking Afghanistan, is evidence of his death.

I agree with him, although I think there's room for doubt.
