Calling these people commissars rather than commission members is accurate. And referring to the commission as a soviet show trial is on target, too.

I have felt for some time that somebody (and we know who) has some tidbits on Hatch, and he's just doing a CYA.

If they don't allow her to testify .. the rumors will never stop. People will begin digging and digging into her past and discovering all sorts of stuff.
