According to an article Rush just read, Jamie Gorelick was quietly asked by Commission Chairman Thomas Kean to resign from the 9/11 commission due to conflict of interest. According to an unnamed staffer, she refused. Should we start a poll on how long she lasts?

Yes, when someone is 'quietly asked to resign' then it has gone past the tipping point and it is now inevitable. I think however she will go down clawing and scraping and it will be spun on the big media as 'right-wing politics of personal destruction' that took her down.

The Imperial Media will never go after the corrupt power brokers of the 1990s. That will be left to enterprising conservative investigators who will have their research published by Regnery, or some such book company, to be read only by other conservatives. Only conservatives know the truth of the Clintons' corruption. The rest of the nation is either in strong denial, or simply doesn't care.

Then take her to the door, hand her the invitation to testify, and boot her out until she returns to the other seat.

"Gorelick needs to be asked why she placed further restrictions on the FBI and CIA a month before the Oklahoma City bombing.Read this article.
"In her book, published by WND Books, Davis documents a compelling body of evidence that illustrates how Iraqi intelligence agents infiltrated the United States to recruit and assist Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols in the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Building -"
Could OKC 'silver bullet' have prevented 9-11?s article.

We are far passed the time for politeness, and protocall. Borin' Orrin needs to learn that.
It's time to blow them out of the water with the Oklahoma City stuff and all the other Mylroie stuff. The temerity of Clinton and his cronies to go after the administration that has largely covered for them is just unreal.

I read it as Hatch trying to pull a John Kerry - coming down on both sides of the argument. Talk about a definitive statement of a non-position.
You said it best.

The emphasis needs to be on having Gorelick TESTIFY.
Having her testify is a defacto call for her to RESIGN.
Nobody can deny the need to get answers, however - albeit when the Gorelick memo was written, to whom it was given, etc..

Reno-Lick is on the 911 Warren Commission to hide the incompetance of DemocRats! If the Truth comes out it will show the complete disregard of US Security by the Rats. Her and HastaVenista are only their to hide the truth. Release the memos about TWA 800!!

is because it is part of a pre-planned conspiracy to take her beyond the reach of the questioning of the commission. Her presence there is too neat, too suspicious You are right - she was chosen specifically to prevent her from being called to testify. She never disclosed the memo & having her prevented from testifying avoids perjury situation.

You dishonor the name and memory of your screen name with that ridiculous comment.

No I don't.
Go skin a mule. That is if you'd even know one if you saw it.

What was supposed to be a non-partisan effort to fix problems has simply become a victim of the same old shenanigans. That's right. Anyway, President Bush and his team are already fixing the problem. Nothing they come up with is going to top what the Administration been doing.
To: LS
She will never resign. The Demo's are already circling the wagons to defend her. But how do they defend this?

Her resignation would serve as an undeniable admission that she was tainted. She has to be called in front of the commission, though; if she isn't that means the commission isn't serious about investigation.
This will affect Hillary's political future. That's why she'll have pressure to gut it out.
