9-11 Commissioner and Janet Renos former Girl Friday, Jamie Gorelick is the center of a swirling controversy that threatens to discredit the entire proceeding of the 9-11 Commission.
In the latest development, Crushkerry.com has produced a new video, which itemizes the charges against Gorelick and openly questions her suitability to serve on the commission. Crushkerry.com also asks viewer to sign a petition to force Gorelick to testify before her own commission.
Earlier in the week, Crushkerry.com issued an open letter to the 9-11 Commission asking them to call four more vital witnesses before they adjourn.
At issue a number of troubling charges of conflict of interest and some obvious partisan behavior on the part of Janet Renos ex-cohort.
Specifically, Gorelicks law firm Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering represents 9-11 defendant Prince Mohammed al Faisal in the suit by the victims families. This obviously provides an important motive for Gorelicks efforts to blame George W. Bush personally for that tragic day, rather than the terrorists and their financiers.
Moreover, as the proceedings have demonstrated, Gorelick is simply too partisan to remain objective. Many believe she is the source of steady leaks to the press. And in a new development, Cushkerry.com has learned Gorelick has given over $60,000 to Democrat candidates and causes in recent years, including $2,000 to Kerry for President, the maximum allowed under the law.
As Attorney General John Ashcroft revealed in his dramatic testimony before the commission, Gorelick was in fact the author of some of the policies that made it easier for terrorists to plot and kill Americans.
Yesterday, Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI) called on Gorelick to step down from the commission, citing some of the same reasons Crushkerry.com does in their video.

The Utterly Absolutely Disgraced 911 Commission [by their own choice]
"Do you really think you are gonna ask me why I dared refuse repeat DOJ requests for investigations of dangerous illegal aliens.
Do you really think you are gonna get to ask me why I arranged to stovepipe intelligence to make intraagency effective communication useless.
Do you really think you are gonna get to ask me why illegal aliens who were felons became voters for our Democratic party.
Do you really think you are gonna get to ask me why I OK'd the use of stolen FBI files on DNC computers.
Not a chance. Following LBJ, your gonads are in my fist and your FBI files are in my computer.
Now go away. "
"Some wonder whether [Clinton] was distracted by the legal and
political quagmire of the Monica Lewinsky case.
And even former Clinton aides now regret that the
battle with bin Laden and his Al-Qaida organization was never fully joined.
'Clearly, not enough was done,' said Jamie Gorelick,
a former deputy attorney general in the Clinton administration.
'We should have caught this. Why this happened, I don't know.
Responsibilities were given out. Resources were given. Authorities existed.
We should have prevented this.'

BREAKING: Gorelick (put on the Committee by Daschle)
not only created the background for the 911 Atrocities but now is covering it up
for the terrorists. Gorelick is a litigation partner of Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering.
which represents Prince Mohammed al-Faisal al-Saud, the House of Saud,
against a lawsuit filed by a coalition of 600 Sept. 11 families.

Is this the GOP's answer to the "unaffiliated with the DNC" moveon.org?

hopefully this is gonna explode and totally discredit the so-called 9/11 commission today.
To: crushkerry
Every time Gorelick and her memo are mentioned, they should be closely associated, mentioned with Tom Daschle, since he is the one who appointed her.
Daschle's name should be prominently associated with Gorelick's.

I saw a clip on FOX last night where Kean defended her; then he told us, basically, that "this is none of our business". No way she's being removed from the commission.
Somebody, apparently, has Kean's FBI file...

If GOrelick & CO kept this vital imformation from the committee, it certainly makes a person wonder what other relevant information they are trying to hide.

I think you're right, alas. She's being protected, and that arrogant commission is not going to do anything.
I almost added, "to protect their credibility," but since they don't have any credibility to begin with, I suppose maybe they feel there's nothing to lose.

Let Gorelick stay on the commission. The GOP commissioners are too weak to issue a strong pro-administration majority opinion at the end of the hearings.
Even if they did, the media will only pay attention to anything anti-Bush.
If Jamie Bin Gorelick remains as commissioner, any and all final reports will be laughed out of court. She's more important to us on that commission than any of the pathetic, useless GOP members.
