Kinda blows a hole the size of the Grand Canyon into this whole "Independent, Non-partisan" 9/11 Commission, eh?
The only person who previously knew about this memo was Gorelick and she was covering up to protect herself.
-And already, information on the internet is being "scrubbed"--
-MORE here-
-yet MORE-
Dereliction of Duty (Excerpt)
2003 | Lt Col Buzz Patterson USAF ret (and Clinton's Nuclear Football Carrier)
During the summer of the 1996 attacks, I myself learned firsthand that the administration knew that terrorists were plotting to use commercial airliners as weapons.

This is the most interesting thread I have been on in sometime. This is when FR shines if you ask me because everyone is adding more of the puzzle pieces--
Agreed -- it is explosive. Therefore, the media will start making excuses and hide the facts. Folks in new media will have to work really really hard to make sure this information gets out to the public, and let the facts tell the story.
Gorelick also sits on the board of directors of Schlumberger, a leading oilfield services provider with interests in Iraq... This has the feel of being the tie-in between 9-11, Iraq, the bizarre behavior of the Democrats, and the Oil For Food program. If so, it's no wonder there was such effort to hide information, as well as the opposition to Bolton's appointment...
The
Washington Post and
New York Times reported in March and April that the five documents stolen by Sandy the Burglar were different versions of Richard Clarke's classified millennium "after action review" from early 2000. He also took the handwritten notes he made in the National Archive about the after action review.
Gorelick was deeply compromised by a conflict of interest obvious to the dumbest taxi driver...

But it does involve the FBI and the Defense Department. Ed Morrissey, Jim Geraghty and other bloggers have some thoughts on what Geraghty says could be "one of the biggest stories to come down the pike in a while". Geraghty's post is a great way to get up to speed quickly on the topic.

This may be the one that sticks to Clinton. Couldn't have broken at a better time...Lord knows, one can hope that is so.
My tagline is meant in utter, deadly seriousness--

Guess I'm really naive, but for the life of me, I don't understand why I have to go to Free Republic to read about this. The news should be full of it.

The news should be full of it.Don't feel badly- the TOM ( Tired Old Media ) has been pulling this nonsense for decades. I go back to Barry Goldwater's run, and it was blatant even then- there was just no way to publicize it like there is now with Talk Radio and the 'net.

You have to go to FR because it is the best news gathering option avaliable. Aren't you happy you found it?
To: Former Proud Canadian
Been here since 1999 and always head right to FR when there is any breaking news as I know I can get the real scoop from so many sources. It still irritates me that so much is brushed under the rug by the major networks.
To: upcountry miss
Ah, the joy of unbiased news reporting (not!).
Slanting away, they want to tell you what to believe, but FR frequently blows them out of the water....

Clintons/Reno/Gorelick all have blood on their hands.
I truly believe this story is going to be the undoing of Hillary's run for the presidency. This is a gift to Pirro.

The Farce That Was the 911 Commission
Lehman: 9/11 Commission Eyeing Secret Clinton Video
9/11 Report Missed Key Facts; 'Huge Deal,' Lawmaker Says -- Well, that just stinks to high heaven! Sounds like we need to clean out the Senate of all the boneheads who enacted the laws (and reaffirmed them year after year by doing nothing) that allowed such a disconnect to occur. This has happened over years and years of neglect and politics.
I don't know why I've been in quite a foul mood of late, but it gets worse and worse each time I drive by a gas station and see the price of gas going up, up, up! I think about how there are folks out there who could barely afford gas when it was $1.50/gallon, and now it's a dollar more/gallon. Who controls the price of oil? (I know this has nothing to do with the Gorelick Wall, but I'm just fed up!) This Gorelick Wall stuff fuels my foul mood.
House Floor Statement by Rep Weldon. June 27,2005( Ignored by the MSM ) Full Trancript, Long read
"
When Gorelick took office in 1994, the CIA was reeling from the news that a Russian spy had been found in CIA ranks, and Congress was hungry for a quick fix. A month after Gorelick was sworn in, Bill Clinton issued Presidential Decision Directive 24. PDD 24 put intelligence gathering under the direct control of the presidents National Security Council, and ultimately the White House, through a four-level, top-down chain of command set up to govern (that is, stifle) intelligence sharing and cooperation between intelligence agencies. From the moment the directive was implemented, intelligence sharing became a bureaucratic nightmare that required negotiating a befuddling bureaucracy that stopped directly at the Presidents office.

You should be given the Medal of Freedom for your work in attempting to protect the Republic from the machinations of these traitors and blind fools. The resources you help but in the hands of patriots are invaluable and carefully suppressed by the RATmedia.
Thank you I salute your efforts.
