Bush Strikes Back
At the Corner, Byron York has posted the text of President Bushs radio address, directly responding to the latest incident of New York Times perfidy: link: 484 comments |
So, Congress knew about this all along...Congress had oversight, and was properly informed, as was the judiciary. Yet, this wasn't sufficient for someone - and the news was delivered on the day after successful elections in Iraq. Agenda driven media? Absolutely.--
Nancy Pelosi: I Was Briefed on NSA Program (She Signed Off On It) The Law on it: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1542923/posts?page=10#10
Two things:
First, they report this like its a BAD thing....after 9/11, THANK GOD we had a President with the balls and brains to sign such an order......this is a STRENGTH and display of character...not somthing evil that the MSM seems to want to convey...
Second.....WTF! Its is blowing my mind that we have to protect our secrets and security from two entities.....our primary enemies, and our own media (secondary enemies).....rhetoric aside about the MSM being our enemies.......THEY ARE! We could be planning major activities to protect our nation, and if the MSM found out about it...they'd report it.....THAT FRIENDS IS AN ENEMY...........I'd much rather they eavesdrop on potential terrorists than put government run video cameras in public (as they do in the UK, ect). This faux outrage over spying and loss of privacy by the left is incredibly hypocritical, to say the least.
Thanks for all your hard work. This thread is a wealth of info. I don't know what kind of teflon Jamie Gorelick is using but it seems to work for her. She has done more damage to our Natl. Secuity than most Jihadis. She apparently has lots of protection in the Justice Dept. from the Clinton holdovers. They are far more interested in nailing Tom DeLay than protecting US citizens from terrorists.
Good job, as usual.
