I am glad to hear them pointing out the guy who went to BAGHDAD and was UNDER THE PAY OF IRAQI INTELLIGENCE!!!I'm back from my errands and am catching up reading posts.
I want to point out that I have read two articles saying that Richard Clarke misstates (ahem--deliberately? or out of ignorance?) in his book that Saddam had the guy arrested. The facts are that the man received a house and a monthly stipend.
I have wondered aloud before why Richard Clarke attempts to paint Saddam as "tough on crime" when in reality he was rewarding and giving safe harbor to this terrorist.
Another reason to grant Richard Clarke zero credibility at this juncture in time.

Also, James Woolsey, former CIA director, was on CNN with Lou Dobbs.
Woolsey said that when Clarke testified that there were no known links between Iraq and AQ that Clarke was lying and he knew full well that the links went back at least one decade.

I believe you are correct on the July 4, 2001 date - I heard it mentioned during the final segment of Brit's show last night. Earlier, on the Grapevine, Brit detailed the Washington Post's inaccurate PDB coverage. The Post indicated there was a specific warning involving Lower Manhattan in the PDB. This was blatantly false. Then that smarmy Cici Connelly of the Post wasn't even asked about it when she said the memo wasn't all historical but gave specific warnings to the President. I can't stand her.

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that Your Word does not return void. As Attorney General Ashcroft goes before the Commission, we claim Your promise for him:
"Be strong and of a good courage, be not afraid, for the Lord, Thy God is with thee, whithersoever thou goest." Joshua 1:9
Surely, Lord, this good man goes into battle this afternoon. At stake is the soul of this nation and the godly leadership of this country. Grant the Attorney General the greatest wisdom ... confound and confuse those who would discredit his words and deeds ... uphold him as he seeks to uphold our beloved country. Strike down those who would use the graves of 3000 of our citizens to further their own agenda. Grant victory to us in this war over our homeland, even as we pray that You grant victory to our sons and daughters on foreign soil as they fight for liberty and freedom for others. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

What the victims should be doing is shutting the hell up until everyone that's planned to testify has had their day in the sun, so to speak, rather than spinning off a bunch of pap that is, on the surface, untrue. We all like to know what was going on in Washington in the days leading up to 9/11, the victims are acting in more ways than one as partisan hacks that they are. Before these hearings took place, I had sympathy for these victims, and figured these hearings would bring a sense of closure and relief to these families. With each passing day, it's turning into a nauseating partisan witch hunt, circus and facade.

Not clear. Is she on with Matthews saying the Pentagon cancelled flights on 9/11? If so, does she cite a source?
To: Spotsy
Don't remember if it was chartered or commercial. Just that it was heading for the Twin Cities and was grounded in Milwaukee.

Amen and thank you.

I remember that as well, but someone had to leak the bin Laden cell phone info to the Post. Wasn't is Sen. Patrick Leahy, now more commonly known as Leaky Leahy? When that happend, the CIA lost communication intercepts of Bin Laden, because he quit using his cell phone, and they had no clue where exactly he was operating or what he was up to.

Pegita, beautiful and heartfelt. Thank you. I will be repeating your prayer when General Ashcroft goes into the lions' den.

Kristen Breitweiser is a useful idiot. She ain't useful to us. People believe this arrogant dunce, and she is hurting the President. I am convinced she was nothing more than a rank Democratic hack prior to 911.
I wish the other families would rise up and tell her to go to Hell.

I think you're suggesting I made fun of her disease.----that's not my style.
No....I genuinely thought she was trying to look innocent....
...you say pray for her....
..I say....Pray for her soul, she has the blood of many on her hands.

Believe it or not, when I was working out yesterday, one of the other widows (the brunette) -- part of the same foursome -- blamed Clinton for 911 -- must have been a Freudian slip -- doubt anyone will ever hear from her again. The big one with the long brown hair.

Just contacted my local affiliate WSB in Atlanta about the View comment.
I got some woman who said she hadn't seen the show but would discuss it with the programer. She tried to get around it by saying it was a network show.
I asked if they had local advertising during this show and if they reaped financial gains from airing this show. I told her I would contact every local advertiser on the show and let them know that they are promoting the harm of a sitting President. She had heard of the Drudge story and was alittle nervous.
Call your local ABC affiliates now and complain
