I am glad to hear them pointing out the guy who went to BAGHDAD and was UNDER THE PAY OF IRAQI INTELLIGENCE!!!

I'm back from my errands and am catching up reading posts.

I want to point out that I have read two articles saying that Richard Clarke misstates (ahem--deliberately? or out of ignorance?) in his book that Saddam had the guy arrested. The facts are that the man received a house and a monthly stipend.

I have wondered aloud before why Richard Clarke attempts to paint Saddam as "tough on crime" when in reality he was rewarding and giving safe harbor to this terrorist.

Another reason to grant Richard Clarke zero credibility at this juncture in time.

Also, James Woolsey, former CIA director, was on CNN with Lou Dobbs.

Woolsey said that when Clarke testified that there were no known links between Iraq and AQ that Clarke was lying and he knew full well that the links went back at least one decade.
