One good thing would be to keep pressure on the individual members to recuse themselves or outright resign. Even the casual observer has to wonder why a commission member has to continually recuse him/herself because of conflict of interest.
This is a tainted commission and that's all there is to it.

"Chairman Thomas Kean has asked the audience to refrain from clapping."Ole "Jake" Reno doesn't need the audience to giver the clap!!!

Someone called Roemer called her that. He asked a question to Freeh about Mr. Clarke and someone called Dr. Rice. Blatant disrespect.

Heck, Bob Kerrey kept calling her Dr. Clark. He can't remember her name and he's responsible for formulating a decision on 9/11 after the hearings are over?

You are right. It's not a pleasant disease. My grandfather had it and after a while he had a hard time with it.

Now Clinton can claim that video that caught him lying was actually disinformation meant to bring OBL out in the open. What video? Are you referring to his recent admission in Feb. that he was offered OBL in '98 but refused? That was recorded on tape, unbeknowst to the Liar in Chief and when asked by the commission said HIS WORDS WERE TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT. Imagine that!

Republican Jim Thompson was my governor when I lived in Illinois and I knew him personally. Mentally he now comes off like a ghost of his former self.....slow, muddled and timid.
He was (is) a RINO, getting a leg up on the Illinois governorship as a fed DA. With well-orchestrated media publicity, he investigated and prosecuted perceived "corrupt" Republican officials in the conservative collar counties around Chicago's Democrook Cook country. He was touted as hard-hitting and a real crime-buster. But he parlayed his publicity into the governorship by stepping on the backs of fellow Republicans.
Da Mare, Richard Daley I, a real perpetrator, never seemed to catch his attention.
Well, if Big Jim ever was a hard-hitting crime-buster, he ain't no mo. He's just a useless, stupidly pathetic Republican choice as a 911 commissioner. He rightfully should be back in Chicago puttering around his antique business, not trying to resurrect his glory days via national media. But old egos never die.

Thanks for the ping.
So... Ms. Reno's basic testimony is "it's not my dog, he didn't bite you, besides you bit him first."
Is that pretty much it?

How is it that EVERYONE from the Clinton administration has such a poor memory? Because "I do not recall ever saying that" cannot be nailed as perjury or treason.

Just like the real Clinton marriage vows: a spouse cannot be called to testify against the other spouse.

Lott picked the wrong Thompson. Should've been Fred, although he disappointed me greatly with his caving in when he was on the impeachment panel.
