WHEN is ENOUGH gonna be ENOUGH this is a battle of good and evil
ME | 04/11/2004 | ME

It is obvious that this country will never unite together even when there is a man in the Whitehouse that is trying to keep AMERICA safe. George Bush's biggest mistake besides some of the liberal spending social programs is not getting rid of the Clinton kenite(evil sons of Caan) left over's. We are fighting our very own war of good and evil right here on the US soil the democratic liberal party are truly our biggest threat to our own safety, Americans(conservatives, christians etc etc etc) need to wake up and reach out to everyone they know and make this clear that these people are not our friends not concerned about our safety and have truly become evil these ppl. must be defeated. The comments of Senators like Biden that we need to turn control over to the UN should simply tell you where this party is headed and our country if we allow them to have control. The fact that I can watch a 911 commission try and blame this terrorist World uprising on a man that had the reins for 8 months and not hear one word of crtizism or blame on who had the reins for 8yrs. tells you where were headed. Wake up Freepers and get the word out even if you dont like alot of what Bush has done with the liberal programs and spending we can not allow a Democrat back into to power for along time to come with the times we now live in. We are in this mess because of lack of their understanding of the true evil that is trying to destroy us and it's gonna take a MAN of GOD to understand that.

This country became permanently divided during the Clinton administration, there are two entirely different major views (as well a a number of lesser ones) about what this country is and what is best for it. Whether as a result of Clinton's tenure, or just that he was in office during the the period that it happened (the division), or both, I don't know. But the division is permanent and irreconcilable.

It's tragic to be sure, but look on the bright side: our red zones have most of the guns and all the military bases.

All the blue zones can muster is harsh language. ;)

"Enough" will come when enough of the islamo-fasist have been killed that the rest of Iraq will be able to conduct their daily affairs without fear of being killed, arrested, or harmed.

By that standard, a LOT more blood needs to be shed in Iraq.

Good post, well stated. We are part of the DOMESTIC COALITION, fighting DOMESTIC ENEMIES. Fortunately, at this time, we can still vote them out of office.

Ping for you know what. Another statement of the sadly obvious. We are a house divided.

Anyone else losing friends over politics lately? I've had one (very liberal) person say never to email him again or speak to him as a result of a series of articles I sent him from mainstream media like the Weekly Standard, Human Events, and other stuff I find of FR.

More recently two very close old friends have turned savage and vicious on our email exchanges using lot of personal insults directed at me. So far this hasn't resulted in the end of our friendship, which has deep roots, but it certainly has strained it.

I can not discuss politics with my parents, in their 70s who seem to have made the move from moderate Kennedy democrats to full on Kerry dems.

Were it not for the good friends I have made here I would be lonely.

'Fraid so, and I'm also afraid it's not at all a matter of the boy who cried wolf.

Were it not for the good friends I have made here I would be lonely.

I wish only that you were in a location a bit easier to visit, and perhaps a bit less hostile to your own wellbeing when things begin getting stickier here. I fear it will not be much longer. And wherever I am, in such horrible times or these that we may look back to as *good old days,* there will be room alongside for you. And that applies to others here as well.

They can accomplish considerable economic distress from financial centers in New York, Chicago and San Francisco.

But those places produce neither petroleum, nor foodstuffs.

We are "in this mess" because our true reason for being in Iraq was, and still is, politically impossible to admit.

We ~had to have~ a permanent military base in the middle east, and Iraq was the obvious choice. -- And we will stay in Iraq until the Middle East crisis is resolved, regardless of the 'party' in power in DC. -- Bet on it.
Right now the crats are making political hay by loudly opposing the Bush policies. -- If elected, their tune will change, some new 'crisis' will emerge and they will change their policy, and find that we must keep our bases in Iraq.. --- Nothing will change but the talking points on why we are there.

We are in the middle east to supposedly prevent a WWIII..
Lets hope the strategy works.

If it comes to it, they won't enjoy living on rainwater, grass, bark, dogs, cats and rats. Or using their furniture for heat in the winter.

I wish that was true. California has almost as many bases and troops as the rest of the country put together.

OTOH if California was to become a country it would mothball those arms and troops and become a 4th world country inside of 2 years.

Amen, brother. We had family over for Easter brunch this a.m., and I was just about heartbroken by the amount of mindless, self-contradictory, propaganda that has been absorbed by bright, affluent, family members.

It's like living a scene from "Invasion of the Body Snatchers."

Sounds like you guys have already negotiated a bloodless surrender of my current forward position on the high ground above the enemy..

Let me assure you -- even here, just south of San Francisco - there are LOTS of armed old farts that have nothing to lose and lots of pent up anger.....

Check out my Minister of Moral and Propaganda....

If she can't "steel your spine" for the task....nothing will!

a yes the leftist side of view is definitely the sinister side. The alphabets; and with the exception of fox, the cable networks are the sinister press.

Been there, experienced that....
Folks I once respected and thought of as friends -- have blown their cover...

To quietly and calmly attempt to point out the basis for my position or opinion on matters of importance, or to attempt to point out the untruth of their "facts" - becomes "hate speech"...

I guess it is best to KNOW who you can trust and who you can't....
One day that may make the difference between life and death -- as it did for many of us decades ago..

My best friend from high school is a dyed-in-the-wool DC-native liberal. We have so many other things in common and we really do love each other like sisters.

We learned a while back not to touch politics. We are polar opposites.

When I accepted my current job late last year, she let me know her opinion but told me she grudgingly now had to support certain things she was very against because of me.

I took a fiendish delight in that. Heh, heh...

Somebody say prophecy??? I love prophecy.

Just got a new book on it.

The Muslims, along with the Russians, will invade into Europe. England and France will be nearly completely destroyed.

Fascinating reading.
