We should not be "offering" them anything or appear confused in the least!
It only make us appear weak and will further embolden these animals. Take the fight to them, ruthlessly, until they cry for mercy and peace, or until all of their fighting cvapability is utterly annnihilated.

"U.S. soldiers used loud speakers to warn people in Arabic that if they come into the area and are found to have weapons they will be shot" That is one thing the A-rabs understand. It is called force, straight forward and deadly.

The four American contractors who were killed were lured into an ambush by members of the Iraqi Civil Defense Corps, Patrick Toohey, vice president for government relations at the security firm, Blackwater USA, told the New York Times for Friday's editions. The men were working for Blackwater when their vehicle was hit by rocket-propelled grenades. This was something I hadn't seen before.

I wondered how those South Korean "Christian" missionaries were released unharmed. I guess eveyone likes a good massage, even low life's such as these terrorists.

The halt was called at noon local time to let humanitarian aid into the city and allow a delegation of city leaders to meet with U.S. commanders.
I just heard on the radio that the battle has restarted.

If the Iraqi Civil Defense Corps did have a hand in the ambush, there needs to be some serious purging done in that organization while we still control it.

We should not be "offering" them anything or appear confused in the least! Absolutely...press them hard, if the terrorists need humanitarian aid they are free to end the hostilities...the innocents are free to leave the city...I'm sure there are innocents, but I have yet to see any large outcry condeming these acts...

Great news, thank God.
In this morning's briefing it was mentioned that residents of Kut cheered U.S. troops as the milita fled. Also there were reports of fighting between Sadr's group and another anti-coalition group.

A reporter on the O'Reily Radio Show just told the guest host that local city strongmen helped the US retake that town as they forced Sadr's forces out of key areas. I cna't find the details of this but if true, it could be shown as a major turning point if promoted and circulated.
