VANITY: I'll Make an FR Donation for Everyone Who Pledges to Boycott MSNBC

I've been driven to post my first vanity by the out and out disgusting behavior of Chris Matthews and Don Imus. Matthews gave full rein today to 4 9/11 widows spouting conspiracy theories...he even said that VP Cheney should be given sodium pentathol before his Commission testimony. Imus has become unwatchable. He has gone far beyond humor in his insults of President Bush - far beyond.
So, here's the deal... the only way we can hurt MSNBC's ratings is by boycotting them ourselves. I'm willing to donate 25 cents to FR for every boycott pledgee on this thread - my maximum is $50, but so is my minimum!
I'm hoping that others might be willing to match my donations. How about it guys? I would love to wake up in the morning and find at least a hundred pledges.

You're spared, but unfortunately the sins of others of your generation is a stain you wear. Sorry. You guys should have been tougher and confronted them.

I have been telling my wife for weeks that she was nuts for watching this fruitcake but today she finally pulled the plug. I tried to tell her that she was one of a dozen people watching him and I'm sorry to say some of those inhabit FReeRepublic...

It is funny that the terrorists have no interest in attacking our media where would they be without the traitors in our media?
Sickening!!

Agreed.
I keep trying to get the younger generation into the media...THAT'S what we need. Real honest to gosh conservative newspeople.

I don't have cable largely to avoid the aggravation of things like MSNBC (and to avoid the bill), so put me on the boycott list and cough up four bits. Thanks...

I don't watch MSNBC any longer, but I did decide to check out Scarborough tonight to see if he had listened to my e-mail. I told him that his guests were ruining his show and that we were going back to FOX to watch Greta. Maybe he got the message because his show was almost like normal, except for the message at the bottom. I also sent him a partial copy of the Frontpage Magazine article, regarding the future of his show.

Stop denying it .. they nearly brought the country down in the 60s and they are reprising that destructive role again now. I say it with no joy. I weep about it. Not all Boomers, just like not all muslims are the problem. Unfortunately, the good muslims and good boomers are overwhelmed by the ferocity and frequency of the despicable acts perpetrated by some. What part of those people I agreed with you did you not understand
I gave you my advice not to lump ALL boomers into one group and you'd rather ignore it
Fine .. but be prepared to have you rear end handed back to you on a silver platter by insulting a large group of folks .. especially the 2 million that fought in Vietnam
Bottom line .. learn a little respect my dear

I also e-mailed Waschovia about advertising on Chris Matthews. I told them that I resented the fact that a bank that holds our entire IRA is using our money to against us. They told me that they would monitor the show to see if it was truly partisan. I haven't watched since. Is Waschovia still advertising on Chris Matthews?
