Kerry is right on this... except he would use the wrong steps. We should have bombed that region for about 90 days will keeping a blockaid around it and letting no one out.

If that's the case, much of the insurgency in Ramadi will have come to an end.

You shut up, arrgoant ass! See how adult that sounds? If we're "intelligent adults" coming to discuss issues of concern to us, why can't you control yourself? What's YOUR major malfunction?

I refuse to sit back when we lose troops like this, and let this "everthing's fine, we will kick their ass" mentality pass without comment. We've got a serious problem in Iraq, and it is probably going to get worse. That's my opinion. Sorry if that disturbs your sensitive makeup.

Fox just mentioned it was Hezbal. They had a tape of some OBL goof ball in Iraq claiming that we are giving them grief so they're giving it back. The only thing he said that rings true is we're giving 'em hell. Right proud of him admitting that.

Jim Angle on FoxNews reporting that there may be a problem with military being able to vote this year.

It seems to have to do with state laws--that ALL absentee ballots HAVE to be sent and received by mail (27 states). Due to duty stations, ballots arrive late, thus being invalid.

GAO report says too little has been done to solve the problem. Mail to/from some duty stations take upwards of 2 months.

This is a punk who wants attention.

Who's the punk? You mean the Shiite cleric who has a warrant out on him?

I would not be surprised if the official number is going to be higher. We are in the fog of war again,it seems.

God bless our armed forces and their loved ones who wait at home.

Brit Hume just said Fallujah was a center of Shiite resistance. I thought they are Sunni!

He corrected himself.

By PAULINE JELINEK, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - If violence in Iraq (news - web sites) gets worse, U.S. military commanders will get the troops they need to deal with it, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld said Tuesday.

Coalition forces fought on two fronts Tuesday, battling a Shiite-inspired uprising in southern Iraq and Sunni insurgents in the city of Fallujah in clashes that have killed 20 American troops and at least 100 Iraqis since the weekend.

Commanders are studying ways they might increase troops in Iraq if violence should spread much more widely, defense officials said.

Among the options are:

_ Troops already inside Iraq could be moved around.

_ Troops eventually headed for Iraq, now training in nearby Kuwait, could be sent early.

_ More troops could be sent from the United States — either reservists or active duty troops who have already served

Kerry is wrong on this, al Sadr should be shot on sight, he decalred war on America.

And if Congress was worth a crap, it would declare war on al Sadr and his Mahdi Army and any other jihadist scumbag who declares war or jihad against America.

That would let slip the dogs while making clear to peaceful Iraqis and other Muslims that we make war only on our enemies but when we make war, our goal is to kill the enemy, not arrest or as Kerry would have us do, appease.

Gosh darn it, even Brit is confusing me!!!

Add in the Shia, too, which is plural for Shi'ite(?).

It will be good to that little Shi'ite Sadr hit the fan.

I refuse to sit back when we lose troops like this,

Lose troops like what? Do you have a reliable report, when nobody else does?

and let this "everthing's fine, we will kick their ass" mentality pass without comment.

Do you think that these attacks will not result in our kicking the salamikaze's asses, as has always happened previously when it came to a straight-up fight between our guys and theirs? If so, will you please provide a basis for your belief?

We've got a serious problem in Iraq, and it is probably going to get worse. That's my opinion.

And we're sure it's a very fine opinion. To me, however, it sounds more like a worry than anything you can back up with actual information.

Sorry if that disturbs your sensitive makeup.

Hey -- I'm a sensitive guy. I hate to see you doing this to yourself.

Bushmeister, get a grip. The war went hot again. We will prevail. We have lots of problems... or challenges. Maybe we lose 20 marines in this but we stop losing the trickle to the IEDs. It'll all even out. Main thing is we can't go wobbly. It doesn't help the troops and it doesn't help the ones who've made the sacrifice.

As he died to make men holy let us die to make men free... His Truth Is Marching On!
