5.7 is higher than 5.6. The Rats will dance over this and ignore the rest. And guess what will be reported? That's because all of those people "who had given up looking for a job" are now again looking.

Yes, but watch for this spin: The unemployment rate ticket up by .1 -- the democrats have never focused on job creation, unemployment is what is important. And why did it take so long to create jobs? You can't take away the fact that people were out of work for a long time and will never recover.

This is not a banner morning for the Dems ;-) It's an especially bad morning for the Dems who believed Kerry when he said there were no jobs to apply for.
Those true-believer, "Kerryite" Dems probably stayed home while the more optimistic, non-Kerryite folks were out getting hired.

518,000 jobs created in 2004!! HMm Lets see 518K first quarter -- times 4 quarters equals 2 MILLION JOBS CREATED in 2004.
Gee, isn't that what BUSH said would be created, and what Kerry said wasn't happening.
So much for the "JOBLESS RECOVERY", Eat this DUMMYCRAPS another of your talking points is TOAST!!
But, look at the bright side DIMS -- John Kerry served in Vietnam -- I heard someone say that.

Nor do they include those who leave the 'employee' workforce to become self-employed, by starting their own enterprise. Nor do they recognize spouses who want to stay home with kids and no longer have to work do to lower interest, taxes etc.

I'm hearing that a settled grocery strike in CA accounts for about 72,000 of these jobs. But even factoring that out, it leaves a very good number. They were certainly factored in and the net, net still leaves 266,000 new jobs in March. But it's neither here nor there, the sheep will hear 300,000.

You can't really factor out the grocery strike since it has shaded the numbers down in past months.

It's what the Business analyst on Fox was reporting. These will be the "extenuating circumstances" that the RATS will play up to try to minimize the report.
