ST. LOUIS, March 28 -- Sen. John F. Kerry, by most measures an unusually fit 60-year-old, has spent key parts of his presidential campaign battling ailments ranging from prostate cancer to a stubborn cough and cold.
On Monday, Kerry's general physician, Gerald Doyle, is slated to release an updated summary of the candidate's health record. And Bertram Zarins, from Massachusetts General, will brief reporters on Kerry's shoulder surgery.
But, several aides said, Kerry's bout with prostate cancer was to blame for the candidate's slow and uneven start to the presidential campaign. After surgery in February 2003, Kerry missed several weeks of campaigning and was sore and tired for many more.
Kerry lied to the Boston Globe when asked whether he was sick. Kerry later explained that he wanted to tell his family first.
In the past, Kerry battled bouts of pneumonia, and Newsweek recently suggested the decorated veteran may have been exposed to Agent Orange when he skippered a patrol craft through the Mekong Delta.

SO why won't Kerry release ALL his medical records?
We have a right to know whether his cancer really is in remission, whether he has a serious lung problem or other health problems.

Shoulder surgery, I don't think so. He's having his hammer and sickle tattoo removed.

I noticed recently he was looking more like the original Kerry. Think his botox is definately wearing off. Be interesting to see what he looks like when he returns. His forehead lines were much deeper than they have been.

I said to my wife a few weeks ago that I thought Kerry looked ill. But I'm more worried about his mental health. I think his brain is suffering from S.U.D.S., a disease known as "Socialist Utopia Dreaming Syndrome"

Oh I think he's going to have plastic surgery.
However, he could be a wimp, and every little thing physically, he runs to the doc. I've known people like this creep, he's got so much crap in his life, he is paranoid. Besides, you can't be as nasty as he is; over years and years of hate, nasty/hate always inside you, you body starts to break down.
Dick Morris made a comment about Kerry saying he has a glass jaw or something like that. The meaning I got was he unravels extremely easy (over criticism).

I do think he is lying about something here. How do you go snowboarding and skiing with a shoulder ailment severe enough that he's going to take almost a week off to have it repaired? Either the hospital visit is for something else or the shoulder was injured while he was vacationing.
This Kerry guy is something though, He hasn't shown up for work for how many months, then he gets a new job as the Dem candidate and he promptly takes a week off and then gets sick. He reminds me of many people I have known and the funny thing is, they are all Dems.

Or this? (Thread with over 200 replies already)
Democrat Kerry to Have Minor Shoulder Surgery
Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites) will have minor outpatient surgery on his right shoulder next week that may keep him off the campaign trail for up to four days.
Spokesman David Wade said the Massachusetts senator aggravated an old injury to a tendon from the sub-scapularis muscle -- which helps move the shoulder -- earlier this year when he braced himself against an abrupt stop on a bus tour in Iowa during the race for the Democratic nomination.
"He will have outpatient surgery on his shoulder on Wednesday at Massachusetts General Hospital," Wade said. "It's a quick procedure that usually lasts less than an hour."
The injury did not bother Kerry during a recent weeklong skiing and snowboarding vacation in Idaho nor does it prevent him from occasionally tossing a football and baseball with reporters and staff.
Wade said Kerry, 60, was not in pain, except when he made a certain movement such as "picking up a baby on the rope line."
However, he wanted to repair the tear to prevent further injury and "decided it would be better just to get it fixed now," Wade added.
Kerry was expected to wear a sling for a few days and spend time working at home in Boston before returning to the campaign trail.

I want him to release ALL his medical records.
Is his cancer really in his remission, or is he going to kick the bucket after a year or two, and have Hillary become president?

Gotta love the Washington Post.
Notice how this Democrat publication cleverly uses the phrase "A Fit Kerry" in the stinking HEADLINE and then begins the story with, "Sen. John F. Kerry, by most measures an unusually fit 60-year-old...."
Exactly HOW does this author know Kerry is "fit"?
And what "most measures" is the author talking about???
Fortunately, the author does have the integrity to cut to the chase and get honest.
Kerry lied to the Boston Globe when asked whether he was sick.
No surprise - - Kerry is a liar. But as the story progresses, it leaves the distinct impression that maybe Kerry is dying. Seriously. Prostate cancer, agent orange, pneumonia, a "stubborn cough and cold", shoulder problems, other mysterious ailments....
Hello. Kerry is anything but "fit".
I just wonder if he can stay healthy long enough make it to the election. Sure wouldn't want him to have to drop out or anything. I mean, who would the Democrats turn to if Kerry had to.... ? Uh oh.

You are giving the author too much credit. It was buried close to the bottom of the article. It's just that when I excerpt, I try to pick the key sentences from the article, rather, than just copy the first couple of paragraphs.

I didn't see this.
So why doesn't he stop the rumors by releasing his medical records.
Could it be that there is some truth to the rumors?

Bush runs a sub-seven-minute mile, bench presses more than 200 pounds and performs other cardiovascular activities. For relaxation, the president chops wood and clears brush at his ranch. He struts like a cowboy and often shoots a stare that says, "Don't mess with me." He famously taunted U.S. enemies to "bring it on" after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. And Kerry is "photographed snowboarding, etc." hahahah

What if he has lung cancer?
I really am concerned about a Kerry- Hillary ticket, where Kerry conveniently "leaves the stage", leaving it to President Hillary.
