**Richard Clarke Takes Position as ABC News Consultant**
ABC News | March 25, 2004

I don't do this very often, so forgive me.

I was watching the ABC program tonight on Donald Rumsfeld at 8 P.M. EST.

Right in the middle of the show, here appears Richard Clarke, and down in the corner is the little ABC logo with the words ABC (SOMETHING) CONSULTANT. (Not sure what TYPE of consultant, but definitely CONSULTANT.

Yes, they know no shame. This Clarke had one of the highest clearances in the Clinton White House, and says with a straight face to the commission panel that counter-terrorism was the highest priority in the Clinton admin, and it was NOT in the Bush White House.

We need to turn every word these people say into the exact 180 degree reverse, in order to understand their 'language.' They use English, but it is not the same language.

Yep...and rather than stand up resolutely to what was going to be such an unvarnished attempt...they gave in to it IMHO. Strategic error.

Nonetheless, perhaps this move by Clark and the press, in such an unmittigated and obvious way, will turn it to the good.

For they still are very unfamiliar with and they still underestimate the will and the power and the numbers of the many good loyal Americans in this country.

They have no shame...and they have no moral principles. Only whatever will advance their own agenda, their own craving for power, their own vice, and their owwn unAmerican, socialistic/maxistic ideology all of that is built upon.

Also, on a thread I cannot find, it was noted that Clarke's business partner (Casey?) has joined MSNBC to work as a consultant.

Also, as I'm sure you've all seen, Clarke has only ever donated to Democrats.

This is the most coordinated attack on the presidency I've seen since Watergate.

The DNC has been busy and we don't know what they have planned for an October surprise.

The press is doing everything it can to affect public opinion of the politically uninformed (which is about 85% of the voting public).

These people are involved in a very dangerous game IMHO, and they do not care.

We are at war and all of this will be viewed by our enemies as weakness that thay can and will try to exploit.

Those involved in such shameless posturing play into the hands of the enemy and are, in fact, their tools in many ways.

I didn't catch your thread last night as I had a BIG HEADACHE and went to bed.

It appears though that Clarke has been a consultant for ABC for almost a year now.

Ex-Security Czar Richard Clarke Speaks Out

During his 30 years in Washington, Richard Clarke evolved from a State Department staffer into the nation's top counterterrorism official and, at the time of his retirement in March, the special adviser to the president for cybersecurity. Along the way, he developed a reputation for knowing how to get things done and also became one of the more polarizing figures in the inner circles of power inside the Beltway. He worked directly for three presidents in a span of 11 years at the White House and was the driving force behind the development of the National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace. He's now working as a consultant to ABC News and several security vendors. Senior Editor Dennis Fisher sat down with Clarke recently in Boston to talk about the state of security in the government and private sector and the development of the new National Cybersecurity Center.

He was always a dem but never gave any 'bribes' to slick willie. Some of the opposition gave to X42 big time and the story is that they asked him to 'get' Gates......the rest is history. That lawsuit was the beginning of the end of the tech boom.

The piece of garbage tht was the justice dept. point man against Microsoft is now Mayor Bloomingidiot's Education Commissioner. The entire administration in NYC is riddled with lefy dems.......but I digress!

Who among us will listen to ABC during the campaign? Perhaps to "keep our enemies closer" but I'll pass on that one.

You folks seem surprised.

There are lots of angles on this matter. Anyone ever heard of a Mrs. Clarke? There may be one, but I've never heard of Clarke being married. Which could lead to all kinds of possibilities, including blackmail. When someone changes their story so drastically, you have to wonder why.

I believe the CIA has restrictions on homosexuals in Security jobs for that very reason.

But WHY did they "give in" again??? And WHY, even when they have the White House, can they not control it? Look, I think the Rs had better decide if they can handle power or not. I think GW has been awesome and strong on his WOT, but the House and Senate Rs leave a LOT to be desired...

Richard Clarke SELF-DESTRUCTED!! You won't know it by the media, but REGULAR people know it....fear not....there was NOTHING likable about the creep.

And that Roger Cressey PUNK PARTNER of his is on the same path!! Celebrate....they are hanging themselves.

Not surprised at all...just increasingly concerned.

I agree with the President's actions as respects the WOT and our involvement militarily. We are at war and we have enemies abroad who want nothing more than to kill as many of us as possible and to destroy our liberty and way of life if possible. He is doing a good job of keeping them at bay and taking the fight to them which is absolutely necessary at this time.

I agree with some of his social/dopmestic issues, but I disagree with many more such as CFR, huge medical entitlements, bigger government, portions of the patriot act, stance on AWB, immigration issues, etc. Many of these action trend towards a diminsishing of the foundational strengths of our nation (IMHO) and they do not serve us well at this time of war.

The Republican Senate in particular, IMHO, has been a huge disappointment and disgrace at a time when they had the power to turn things around, or at the very least to strongly hold the line. The House has been better, but also lacking in some of these areas.

So...not surprised, just concerned at how it is all playing together at this point and where it can lead, particularly as respects our enemies and their read of all of this and their resulting actions.

I fear they are being abetted by emenies domestic who care not a whit for our Republic and all that it stands for...and I fear that wittingly or unwittingly those domestic enemies are being helped in their aims by others on both sides of the aisle. It is a dangerous situation.
